It is better to skin animals in the market than depend on other people. (*)
-- Talmud, Tractate Pesahim, page 113A
When you have tried applying for every position for which you may be qualified, including cashier at McDonald's and greeter at Walmart, then come to me for charity. Unemployment payments are designed to tide over those who lost a job and are looking for another, not as a freebie for the lazy good-for-nothings trying to game the system.
(*) skinning animals (for tanning) was considered the worst possible work - hard, smelly, etc.

Consider the implication that he's so ing lazy he didn't seem to put much effort into finding such a list, himself.
I would say "any" effort but he did ask CPer's to do it so that's at least 'one' attempt.

he's been out of the market for so long it's possible his last tech job search was done by printing a stack of resumes out, going to an office park and sequentially knocking on doors. I wanted to make the point that there's this thing called the intarwebz that you can use now, without being quite as insulting as to use LMGTFY links.

I know hosting providers are plentiful, but I'd like a recommendtion. Preferably a US based company with US based support.
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.

Wow!! I'm checking out NameCheap right now and it sounds too good to be true.
50 free SSLs that last one year.
Very inexpensive hosting plans too, but I can't tell if I can host my Windows .NET Core apps there.
Do you know if this is running windows or linux OS?
If windows and IIS do you have control over everything?
Will I be able to push ASP.NET MVC apps up? Thanks

Contact their support. They know all - tell all.
I happen to pick CPANEL, which is flavored with LINUX.
One of the chief driving forces when I was looking to escape BlowDaddy was the need for free Email forwards. This place will actually let you have them free - even without buying anything! I used that to set it up before I transferred domains - so it was ready to roll immediately. Oh, and I needed minimal service beyond the hosting and they do that very cheaply.
My IIS experience is that one of the servers here, where I work, is running WordPress in IIS. I use Vertrigo everyplace I can (a WAMP server). I don't much like IIS. I'm using their MySQL ("MariaDB") along with the php on the hosting. There's a lot of stuff included and available I haven't even clicked on, yet.
If you decide to go with them, try to find their ongoing specials[^]. They rotate amongst a few every month.

As a "cheap" name says, it's limited PHP only service. Who need sh**t like PHP?!

Competent web developers - so you can, by inference, obtain your web host elsewhere .

My experiance with different host tells me that do not fall for cheap ones or shared hosting or someone who says 2.5 $ per month. They all 1 way or another will try to put you on shared hosting.
Choose a provider like Kinsta.com or pantheon.io - they will be worth it on long run.
Remember there are no free beers.

I switched to InterServer [^] (my referral link) about 6 months ago -- thrilled with the technical assistance I received (mostly due to not knowing exactly how to use their system and being in a time crunch to have sites active again).
According to
their hosting details[^], they support .NET core 2.2.8 and 3.1.3.
I have about 8 sites there - they have all been responsive when accessed.

I use NameCheap; when you register a domain name, you get free e-mail forwarding.

What's amazing with them . . . you can get the free email forwarding even if your domain's registered with someone else.

I know some of the online reviews like to bash on them, but I have been using Powweb for almost 15 years, and have not had any problems.
I get excellent uptime, and I have never had problems getting support when I needed it.
