I couldn't agree with you more. After all my sisters ex husband in Wales died of it and my niece and nephew couldn't attend the the funeral because of the lockdowns at the time.

Ah, then apparently, deep idiots catch it as well. Another breakthrough in the study of the disease (and for those wondering, yes, you need it happen twice for a fact to be scientifically confirmed - Boris Johnson was the first).

If so, then monarchs, presidents, prime ministers, temporary maximum leaders etc. should be dying like flies.

With any luck yes. Although it's a bit of a stretch to call the first one a debate!

He didn't actually say that.
He laughed at him catching covid. I understand the sentiment, given that Trump has downplayed the virus at every turn, and held super spreader events even after knowing how dangerous it was.
It serves him right he caught it. Just like if I touch a hot stove I deserve to be burned.

Him catching it does not mean he's wrong. All it means it that it exists. A site full of supposedly logical people should understand that.
And closing all travel to China before anyone really knew much about it is downplaying?

I know how you feel but it is Holy day here (Friday) and I have had a few drinks:
Your post is atrocious and you should not have posted it. (Half Joke'/ Half Real).
Yet I could have easy done the same except I would have had about 4 laughing smileys less than you.
No I wouldn't have done it. I couldn't.
It was sort of inevitable anyway though hey.
What I am trying to say is that you are lowering yourself to his standards.
But...
He doesn't have to worry as it is just a flu.
And it will just go away.
Miraculously just disappear.
He can of course inject or insert.
Very Strongly I would suggest.
Really though, I wouldn't wish this on anyone at all.
Not even him.
I keep hearing from friends and friends of friends who have had it ages ago, who are still struggling.

I tried Subway once. Never been back.
And as for the Jaffa Cake conundrum "cake or biscuit*?": it's a cake. Legally (in the UK at least) it's a cake because when it goes stale, it gets harder. Biscuits start out hard, and go soft with time.
I don't discriminate: I like cake, I like biscuits, and I like Jaffa cakes!
* For our US readers, that would be "Cake or Cookie?"

Their veggie sandwich is a lie.
One tiny slice of cheese is all you get and then the regular toppings everyone gets.
And if court has anything to say about it, it probably isn't cheese either.
Still, the toppings are okay so it's not that bad either... At least better than Burger King, KFC or McDonald's.

The next case to be tried in Ireland should be under the Consumer Protection Act (2007). The question to be answered is whether "fast food" should be classified as "food".
It certainly isn't fit for human consumption...

... The panic buyers hit my local supermarket yesterday, and pretty much emptied the TP shelves.
When I walked past the aisle all that it held was one double roll pack and a battery powered Wet & Dry Vacuum cleaner.
I'm not sure if this was a "suggested substitute" or somebody just changed their mind ...
And yes, when I went in today the shelves were all fully stocked.

Empty the shelves, create that fear "deep in the pit of the stomach" and watch the hoarders pay top dollar for whatever you've got. Social engineering at it's best!
