There are so many such links, here in the lounge. Every day. Perhaps there's a back-story you wish to share as to why you found it necessary to take exception to this on?

100% agree. The cynic me says it's because it was an Israeli firm that developed the drug and that it's a Rabbi who received it that our media ignored it.

Perhaps, but the article is very thin on details other than to say it's stem cell based. To write a good article, more information about the treatment would be required, but the US media has largely degenerated into various echo chambers that spout opinions, ignore facts, and do little actual journalism.

Because 90% of them are owned by a mere 6 companies. That leaves very little room for facts, if those do not align with what the media wants to report.

The article you cite is from 2012. The individual in question has since passed away, in 2016. According to this article https://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/206709, it would seem that there was a short term improvement, but the treatment was not a cure.

Looking back at it, you're quite correct.
I found it, however, in today's browsing - on the left side 'controversial'. I'd not have though to look at what is, in fact, embedded in the article headers (i.e., 2012).
Jewish & Israel News | Algemeiner.com Breaking Alerts, Commentary, Insights Analysis and Blogs[^] is the link to the page. It updates often so the article may leave the cue at any time.
I've never heard mention of this treatment, before - it's still spoken of as 'incurable' and that is still true.

If you intend to give up everything developed in Israel, you'll have to give up everything from cherry tomatoes (originally developed in Israel) to cell phones (Qualcomm has a development centre in Israel) to Intel processors (many of which were designed in Israel).
A quick google would come up with many other everyday items developed in Israel. Good luck doing without them all.

It's the Euro mind-set - generations of it so it's cast in concrete.
Any chance of it changing? Well, EuroNews is 85% Egyptian owned. As a for-example. I've seen BBC "reporters" convert to editorializing on-scene and culling the information so as to push forth the traditional point-of-view.
In US? Just think "NY Times" - over a century of anti-Israel bias and going strong.
But - we can always hope the adherents, instead, take advantage of that fantastic arab contribution to modern humanity's well being: the suicide vest.
