"Be Prepared" has been a favourite of mine since the 60s when I first heard a record of his.

Have loved him since the 70s. In the 80s found that a local theater company was presenting the musical "Tomfoolery," performing a number of his songs. Of course I attended. The one they did best was "I Hold Your Hand in Mine" and "The Hunting Song" was a close second.

Darn, and I was hoping to download all his MP3s.

Always a favorite. He's among the vinyl I ripped to MP3 and I have on my phone for daily enjoyment.
My father took me to a showing of "Tomfoolery" in 1984. And I have my father's copy of "Too many songs by Tom Lehrer" (1981).

All his commercial recordings was released as a 3 CD set a few years ago. That is my only CD box with a hardcover booklet (or rather: book) of well above a hundred pages.
You'll find several of the "unknown" (i.e. not on commercial records) on YouTube. Like "The Subway Song".

I think I have a two CD set from a few years back, but the original vinyl with its musty sleeves...

MSOffice here ( - even if, well, the office is also good at it).
When I want to save a Word/Excel/PPt document using "Save As" and the filename prompt windows pops up, instead of keeping the current name of the document as a proposal for the filename it should be saved to, the proposal is overwritten by a random filename picked up in the open directory.
So if I have a document named "CurrentFile.docx" and I push the "Save As" button, I get "SomeRandomName.docx" in the editbox. If I want to reuse the current filename but save the file to another location, or simply quick version it, I have to retype the complete filename - AAAAARGH. Is it only me ? I have found no solution to this, our IT also has no solution.

I'm using Office 2019, and if I open a file, use "Save as" and "Browse" it gives me the original file name in the original folder.
What am I doing that is different?

It must be you. Which version of Office?

Professional Plus 2016 - It is our workplace version, not sure what policies have been changed in the background.

We have 2016 Home & Student and never seen this problem. Also I cannot see anything in the options that would affect it.

Thanks for looking, I guess it must be some kind of inhouse add-in doing nonsense in the background.
A small thing, but annoying on a daily basis.

We have it at work too and I can't remember that behaviour...

I find Office Word 2016 uses the first 20 characters or so in the document as the suggested filename. Not sure about Excel.

That's the question. I have the same version at home, and there it works as expected. I do not know what is wrong at my workplace. Neither IT department. Colleagues have the same issue.
