Kris Lantz wrote: I see Trails of Mana has a Switch release. I may have to check that out, since I'm looking to increase the game library. I wouldn't recommend Trials of Mana unless you're intro (retro) JRPG's.
It was a great game for its time (it even has different starts and endings depending on the character you choose), but all in all the gameplay feels a bit outdates.
Very charming game though.

But yeah, it's how I started FFXII this time around (although I listen to FF soundtracks all year around).

If you ever go into business, it's worth noting that "Profit" is not the same as "Income" - you will go bust very quickly if you assume that.
Profit = Income - Outgoings Or at least, until the accountant gets his hands on the figures, anyway!

Sometimes they're synonyms, though it's often qualified as net income.

Picked up the wrong forum by mistake or intentionally posted in Lounge?

Definitely intentional.

Total cockup.
Helped in part by FedEx delivering the new coffee machine, and the packaging being damaged.
Normally FedEx isn't too bad - late, but intact. So when it arrived a day late I was not surprised. But the mains adapter is smashed beyond any repair and I'm in two minds whether I should send it back, wait for a replacement adapter / lead, or use one of my spare IEEE connectors to test it.
Strange, it's normally UPS that treats packages like footballs, not FedEx.

Did you just blame FedEx for posting in the wrong forum?

I heard the truck pull-up and by the time I got to the door I saw the FedEx driver throw my package about eight feet to the steps. Fortunately, in this case, it wasn't fragile (meds that are over-nighted in refrigeration container: super padded with insulation).
I've had the UPS and USPS (i.e, the post office) people often ring the bell or knock on the door when they leave a package (face-to-face gone since COVID).
I had experienced FEDEX routing my overnight package (Florida to NY) via Philidelphia (Pennsylvania). Odd, because there are a lot of flights FLA<->NY OK - it would speed things up by making better air connections? No so! It sat there for twelve hours and wasn't delivered until the next day. Ice long since melted (summer), med's ruined - had to be resent (this time, UPS !). Someone, somewhere, ate $thousands for FedEx incompetency.

No, not the "call for back-up Guv" type of back-up. Just, the run of the mill, data back-up, that everyone does! Right?
