Thank you! I tried - I even hastily threw my answer up before going back to edit in the definition, but Pete was just too foxy for me!

Edit
I meant Randor, Landor is a dodgy pub in Brixton

Despite all of my years practice, every now and again, even now, there are still times where it feels like WPF hates me!
Right now my custom ListBox subclass that I am editing for the n-th times really behave.. like it shouldn't!!!
Why, oh why doth you hateth me so?!

"Custom" ListBox ... there's the problem.
"Before entering on an understanding, I have meditated for a long time, and have foreseen what might happen. It is not genius which reveals to me suddenly, secretly, what I have to say or to do in a circumstance unexpected by other people; it is reflection, it is meditation." - Napoleon I

Because it's WPF. WPF is a great example of how your (or anyone's) years of practice is an exercise WPF telling you "no", "no", "sort of", "no", "no", "ok in this custom scenario but don't expect it to behave the same if you make one little tweak."
At least that was my experience. I gave up on WPF pretty much at the get-go because it kept telling me "no" far too often.

Haha.. I didn't suffer that much...
But come to think about it.. I am pretty sure I hit a few WPF bug over the years that I had to work around.... Always frustrating!

Looked it up.
I was fairly certain I didn't know any words starting with the letters I had and another letter I knew.
Indeed, turns out only two five-letter words in the English language had this exact combination of letters, I knew neither, and they mean the same.
Learned a new English word today (fairly common word too, I guess, if you're into gardening).

Yeah, even though it's a common word, a tricky one. After three goes, I had four of the letters, (one in the right place), but it still didn't jump out at me. If English isn't your first language, it could easily be a word you've never needed to use.
