Three. The left ear, the right ear, and the final front-ear!

Always wanted to learn that - something to Chekov my bucket list if I do!

Only for the Geordies!
Freedom is the freedom to say that two plus two make four. If that is granted, all else follows.

Sorry... I confused "yar yar" with "jar jar"[^]
It was related to the puns mixing star wars

Oh great. You just had to go there, didn't you? Have you ever seen the unbridled carnage at a convention that included both Star Trek and Star Wars fans? One side slings crap about Spock's Brain, the other about Jar Jar Binks, and it goes downhill from there.

Mine has faded over time.
Star Wars - too much crappy dialog and poor overall universe building. And gee - I hope they blow up another Death Star in 'Solo'!
Star Trek - too much cloning of TOS - Spock=data=7of9=odo, engineering 'save the day' superpowers, etc...

Indeed, he's yet again being a Voyager into a new quadrant of puns, perhaps for the New Generation of Code Projectians herein wherein they'd rightfully toss these into Deep Space Deep Space Deep Space Deep Space Deep Space Deep Space Deep Space Deep Space Deep Space.

May 25th is Geek Pride Day. Go with that!
At the cons I attend, there are so many fandoms present that you don't really see arguments between them, though you might see mock arguments at room parties. At the last con my wife and I attended a party named 'The Blind Pig', I went to the bar to get drinks and the woman said "What house." bzzzt 404 not found Oh. Hogwarts house. We didn't see any indication that it was Potter-themed. Next time I get asked, I'm gonna say "Unseen University- Department of Inadvisably-Applied Magic."

So my job with the 1:10+ hour single trip commute has come to an end!
It's been a fun job with nice people, learned some stuff, taught some stuff, build some stuff, fixed some stuff, and broke a little bit of stuff as well probably
My new job is a lot closer... NOT!
About 10-20 km closer, but when taking traffic into account I'm looking at pretty much the same travel time.
But the working hours are a bit more flexible and I get to work from home about two days a week (and I already have a four day work week).
Hopefully I don't have to get up at 5:00 every morning to beat traffic (and still get in a traffic jam once in a while).
What's more, this company wants to be the most innovative company in the financial sector, cloud only (Azure), bells and whistles, fairies and unicorns
Sounds like a fun learning experience, can't wait to start (next week)
