The "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" has a corollary - "if we touch it, we'll be sure to break it."
Which is Shirley the case in what I'm experiencing -- a lot of data and code running on mainframes with COBOL. It's hard to "innovate" when the people that wrote some of this code aren't around and the people that could innovate have no idea how to read COBOL.

Python was the previous job (web server was running Django), except what I'm doing with Python on the Beaglebone my client is using, and I'm quite pleased with Python in that environment.
The company I have a 6 month contract with still maintains COBOL code on their mainframes. I had a look at some of the code, it was like reading a foreign language. It would take a couple weeks of learning the language just to be able to read the programs.
Happily, I'm doing C#/SQL work.

Back in October 2014, Microsoft made a bold promise, that anyone with an Office 365 subscription would get unlimited OneDrive storage, rather than the 1TB that users were already being offered. A year later, the company officially broke that promise, saying that anyone that had been upgraded to either unlimited or 10TB of storage would be downgraded after a year. Like so many others, Microsoft learned that when you give "unlimited" something, there will be a small number of people who will try use it all.
At one point, I had 125GB storage on OneDrive, though all the offers I'd used to get that had time limits. The last limit expires in a week or so and I drop to 15GB, leaving a 3GB buffer. (I keep my code backups on DropBox, of which I'm not a fan, but I knew that extra data would cause my storage to exceed 15GB and figured I'd forget until it was purged, so used DropBox. At one point, I was also using Google Drive, it caused all sorts of problems, so I just do manual backups to there.)
