Thank you for the reminder. I am taking advantage of the one year subscription to Office 365 Personal for now and I can debate whether to keep my Office 365 Business account for another year.

I still have 140GB. 25GB of it expires next month. 100GB of it expires next February. I've known about both expiration dates for quite a while. What's unclear is whether my 10GB loyalty bonus will stick around.
I actually like how OneDrive works far more than Dropbox and, especially, Google Drive, but the latter integrates better with Android (better; it still sucks--for reasons that escape me, it refuses to sync up some pictures I took yesterday.)

Most of us think of website hacks as illicit activities aimed at siphoning critical information or disrupting the business of website owners. But what happens when your site becomes hacked, not for the purpose of harming you but rather to further the ends of other parties? It's 2am: do you know what your hamsters are doing?

That happened to me some time ago. The SEO spam was relatively harmless: a script showing the referrers of the visitors could be run by everyone. Closed that, but still many stupid SEO guys spamming my site with faked referrers.
Worse was the injection of an obfuscated javascript which opened an invisible window in which another hacked site was to be shown (see Analysing an obfuscated malware script - JavaScript Discussion Boards[^]). Likely for downloading malware, but that other site was fortunately blocked by the virus scanner of the server...

It has been about two weeks since we shipped .NET Core / ASP.NET Core 1.0. The team has used the past two weeks to take a deep breath, and is now getting started on planning what is coming next. Now that the "small, lightweight" version is launched, time to start shoveling stuff into it.

This is actually a pretty amazing bit of technology - basically bringing event sourcing (CQRS) into the .NET framework (and in the process making my efforts over the last 3 years largely redundant  ) - but the rainbow projecting unicorns write-up doesn't really help their cause.

Stack Overflow alternatives
Code Project
CodeProject is a similar site to Stack Overflow with developer queries as well as a ‘quick answers’ section for questions that get asked on a regular basis. However Code Project differs in the fact that it also has an extensive range of articles as well as a discussion area. It is said that a lot of the content on CodeProject focuses on Windows programming.
The only reason this post[^] is newsworthy is because of the above quote.
