In the beginning, open-source software was meant as a way for developers to scratch each other’s back. "Fear is the mind-killer."

The licensing nightmare of open source, yeah, ok, potentially scary. But what I find really scary is that droves of mediocre programmers are now pushing open source projects that get used without much any thought with regards to the underlying cruft, including the overall architecture. And even scarier still is the "Ooh, look! A shiny new open source project to use on our cancer cell zapper neutron beam gun!"

No, seriously, I hope they find a solution. Although it reads a little weird that transmission time between Earth and the probe is about four to five hours, but still they were able the reestablish a connection within 90 minutes. How does this work? Sending a request and getting a response would take at least eight to ten hours, wouldn't it?

Or use IE 11. It will still be there for a while (I assume for the lifetime of Windows 10).
But I gather Netflix will be moving to pure HTML 5 in due course - I'm guessing sooner rather than later.
