Reading their actual roadmap[^], I think they could implement 90% of it now by forking the current LibreSSL release.

This is caused by the water used to prepare the samples having the memory of previous DNA samples in it that caused the Sasquatch DNA to be mutated to look exactly like HorseBearDog.
(Also - on the homeopathy theme - my software doesn't have bugs but the computer is remembering other software that has run on it that did have bugs... )

Given its prevalence, open source code is virtually impossible to avoid, but the proper steps need to be taken address its vulnerabilities. Somebody should create an open source tool for that

The teaser tries to imply that open source is more of a risk. Read on, and you'll find more of these suggestions: "Avoiding open source completely is not an option".
I'd like to point out the obvious; one can only check if the source is available, meaning that these vulnerabilities in propriertary software will go unnoticed. And though it may not be an option to avoid open source, it is an option to avoid proprietary software.
