That's a little disingenuous given that 25% of the number of Win10 installs were done last week without the system owners' active consent.

Anglo-pedant to the rescue!
"Farther" should be used when talking about actual physical distance.
E.g. "Going East from here, Singapore is farther than London."
"Further" should be used for metaphorical distance or depth.
E.g. "We shouldn't take this any further; the matter is decided."
"Further" can also be used (in poor English, in my opinion) as a verb.
E.g. "Let's further this discussion tomorrow!"
- I would love to change the world, but they won’t give me the source code.

Ah, so in this case I should have used further? Thank you!

when to use further and farther - Google Search[^]
Quote: Farther refers to length or distance. It is the comparative form of the word far when referring to distance. Further means "to a greater degree," "additional," or "additionally." It refers to time or amount. So you should have used "further".

That's for February 2015 to February 2016. If you change the graph to look at the last three days, Win10 gets 20.1%; for the last seven days, it's 18.43%; and 17.13% over the last 30 days.

5% are those installed it by choice...but there is an other 15% (and growing) who got it as surprise and do not know how to roll-back...

Alex: Fix it? How you gonna fix this?
Skipper: Grit, spit and a whole lotta duct tape.

GitHub today announced that its Atom text editor last month had more than 1 million active users. Usage is three times what it was when all of Atom become available under an open source MIT license and the software hit version 1.0, GitHub Atom community manager Lee Dohm wrote in a blog post. Emacs and vi were in the corner, laughing
And Notepad thought that was really precious

The figure appears in a report by Oracle's damages expert, which Google strongly contests What a coincidence, that's the figure I'm seeking too (but I don't think either of us will get it)

$9.3 billion. pfffttt! Google made more than that from the advertising flashed up on the site while reading the article anyways.
Google could solve this problem handily. How? Simple. Buy Oracle...
My forthcoming book, Launch Your Android App, is available for pre-sale at Amazon.com -- releases on April 1, 2016 (no joke).

Popular OS X and Linux BitTorrent client Transmission is coming to Windows. It’s not quite ready for prime time, but gHacks spotted the first Windows build on the official repository. But it’s already better than any other Windows BitTorrent client out there. Which you'll only use for good purposes, right?

Everyone running 2.90 on OS X should immediately upgrade to and run 2.92, as they may have downloaded a malware-infected file. This new version will make sure that the “OSX.KeRanger.A” ransomware (more information available here) is correctly removed from your computer. I think, I don't want it anymore.

There's a new free utility available for 'normals' who don't want their Windows 7 and 8.1 PCs and tablets to automatically update to Windows 10. For those allergic to progress

Or you can just turn off automatic updates.
