If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader.-John Q. And either way, the implications are staggering.-Wernher von Braun Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.-Albert Einstein

Windows 10, that would be interesting.
As a side node I'm partial to Key Lime Pi!

Windows 10 "Internet of Things" version.
Baring evidence to the contrary; I'm going to assume no desktop equivalent or even metro replacement (eg the phone version); instead you'll get a revived version of the .net Micro Framework.
Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, waging all things in the balance of reason?
Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful?

Yeah that's what I was thinking. I haven't checked out the micro framework in a few years so I'll ass-u-me that it has come a long way since last I used.

...and that's probably what you're doing. MS open sourced the micro framework back when open sourcing was a way to dump projects they didn't care about; not the new way of doing business.
I doubt they've done much if anything with it in the last few years.

Did you go to sunset pier?
They have a ritual every night all the freaks, artists, musicians, etc. come out at sunset to this little pier and perform/hangout. I don't know it they do it anymore but it was an experience.

Not at night, we were a bit to jetlagged for that to be honest.
And the next time the kids will be with us. But then we'll plan it differently so that Key west is among the last stops instead of the first.
They've seen the pictures and want to go "where the palm trees are".

Updating your iPhone to the latest version of iOS to get a fancy new interface is one thing, but wirelessly updating your phone to flog some bloke off the lights, fix your suspension or make hill starts easier is something else. It’s the future of the motoring industry and it’s insanely exciting.
Unless its in an electric car.
bet Chris didn't code that, coz if he did he'd have found he already coded it

The next generation of cloud servers might be deployed where the clouds can be made of alcohol and cosmic dust: in space. That’s what ConnectX wants to do with their new data visualization platform. You're going to need a longer network cable

It's been a long time since last hearing of any major innovations or improvements to VirtualBox, the VM software managed by Oracle since their acquisition of Sun Microsystems. Is there any hope left for a revitalized VirtualBox? "If an open source product gets good enough, we'll simply take it."

I’m a software engineer for the fine folks at HappyFunCorp and I’m occasionally called on to diagnose and fix projects that have gone horribly wrong. The more I do this, the more I notice commonalities among problem projects–“antipatterns,” if you will. "I love deadlines. I love the whooshing noise they make as they go by."

Larry has announced that the Perl 6 Developers will attempt to make a development release of Version 1.0 of Perl 6.0 in time for his 61st Birthday this year and a Version 1.0 release by Christmas 2015. Are the pigs growing wings, or will they attach them?

Just three small clues—receipts for a pizza, a coffee and a pair of jeans—are enough information to identify a person’s credit card transactions from among those of a million people, according to a new study. Hi. I'm bananas, rum, and chicken biryani

So if I do not wear jeans and didn't ordered pizza like 10 years I'm safe?

First I read "how spending money that isn't yours with a card that's not very secure could get you into trouble" (I'm Dutch and credit cards aren't much of a thing here).
Then I read the article and it was nothing like that.

Yeah, that part hasn't changed much (although with Wen being free, you'd think they'd throw Enterprise customers a bone), but what I thought was interesting was the "Current Branch for Business" release plan.
