Blasphemer!
Tab is the only spacing option that makes any sense.
Anyone who uses spaces is evil 💩, and must be destroyed.

How the hell did you get that sh*t in there?

It's a secret emoticon that nobody else knows about.
Actually, it's a Unicode character: 💩 , aka "Pile of poo".

Whitespace is like white noise, meaningless and random. Tabs bring order out of chaos.

Whitespace.

I, too, have a peaceful gesture: I use the tab key but have the environment set to convert them to spaces.
The former, so that it's convenient.
The latter so that the look is not obscene when tab settings change in different viewers.

[error] syntax error
Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, waging all things in the balance of reason?
Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful?

That error message isn't very user friendly...
This is better:

I'd be ok with tabs at the beginning of lines, but spaces should be used within a line of text. Now, if there were an editor that did it that way...
But, really, tabs are obscene because different viewers display them differently (tab sizes are different) and cause code to look obscene.

Everyone knows the right answer is white space. Specifically, upper case white space.

My VT220 doesn't have white space. I can choose between black and amber, but not white.

What to expect from Google's new MVNO service: flat rate pricing, roll over data usage, Google Voice number porting, and an app that does it all. Because they couldn't get enough adverts pointed at you any other way
Or would you have preferred a 'Semper Fi' joke here?
|
|
|
|
|
As far as I'm concerned Fi has always meant, ummm... Eff-it . Can I say Eff-it here?
|
|
|
|

Meh. Can't say I'm surprised by the choice of carriers; but MVNOs with only access to Sprint/TMobile faceplant as soon as you take a highway outside of a major metro area. Sprint has patchy 3g (and since they're CDMA it's only 3MB EVDO rev A), TMobile has even patchier 2g. If you're a normal customer of either carrier you at least get limited roaming access to VZ 3g/ATT 2g (respectively) networks. Without that, you're just elephanted.
