IIRC yes.
Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, waging all things in the balance of reason?
Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful?

In this article is a 27-way graphics card comparison testing graphics cards from each generation going from the GeForce 8 series through the GeForce GTX 900 series and ending with the $999 GeForce GTX TITAN X. I'm really hoping newer = better.

N.Y. Times, January 20: [^]. Asking “who’s losing?” misses a larger truth about how thoroughly Amazon, Apple, Facebook, Google and Microsoft now lord over all that happens in tech. So, forget about Intel ?
An interesting op-ed piece, but, imho, not so deep; I would have liked to have seen a comparison of the "five" (particularly Apple) to the great vertically integrated cartels of the early 19th. century. Would have been more interesting if it mentioned the incredible amount of funding going into "virtual reality" (as with Magic Leap).

How and who will confirm that they got it right.
But by that time they will keep changing the versioning of internal dlls here and there. And while working on it later, we may end up pulling our hair looking the messed up libraries.
Cheers!!

Hey, found a new slogan: "A buggy OS for a buggy CPU". I wonder if the automotive industry will reply introducing a Windows 10 powered with Intel CPU Dune Buggy - then it will be a "Buggy with a buggy OS on a buggy CPU"!

None of these bugs seem to have a nerdy Star Trek related meme associated with them, so they'll probably be forgotten in a few years.

It starts with a basic example but then quickly veers off into the specialized area of thread affinities, hardware topologies and performance implications of hyperthreading. Your Wednesday blog fix
