I dont believe such numbers. But a lot of issues are to be closed.
My experience is that only "pain in the ass" helps resolving that issues.
Press F1 for help or google it.

It's funny because I can remember when I was young and lived in Arizona they were predicting a major earthquake and said PRC would sink into the ocean and Arizona would have beach front property. They were selling beach front property in Arizona!

In Word you can only store 2 bytes. That is why I use Writer.

Since its debut, Asgardia has attracted over 300,000 registrants, created a constitution and, as of this Sunday, launched itself -- all 0.5 TB of it -- into space. I know of a few people I'd like to launch into space, can we make them citizens of Asgardia?

This SO article cites a huge rise in Angular.
Dramatic Shifts in Technologies on Stack Overflow | Stack Overflow Blog[^]
However, think about that. This little framework solves one problem -- it creates an MVC framework for client-side of web apps. That's really it. So what is the big deal? Hype, maybe.
Meanwhile, you can use real languages like C# -- high level, general purpose language.
Hyped By Front-End Web Devs
This makes me think that front-end devs search SO the most and there is TONS of HYPE assoc. with Angular.

Many questions in SO = many people don't know how to do basic things / the framework is evolving at too rapid pace with breaking changes with previous version ( we don't care what you learn last summer mentality ) / too complicated to use / frustration with framework . Sounds like huge rise. Yeah !

But Angular sounds so much better and cool!

This shallow, and biased, reaction to an article about Angular deserves a response from someone with a depth knowledge of Angular, and its growing popularity.
Beware of assuming that other people are uninformed, stupid, confused, or driven to choices by context, because they like, value, or choose, something ... you do not.

Except now, you've assumed yourself into your own circle.
I've used Angular quite extensively and I actually liked it quite well.
It is interesting since it has so many declarative type of constructs versus the imperative type of coding that many of us are accustomed to.
My point was and still is... Angular really doesn't do that much -- compared to an all-purpose type of language but it seems to be ascending -- ie There are more searches about Angular but it does less than an all-purpose language. That seems interesting to me. Less functionality but more searches.
It was just a technical discussion. There was nothing personal about Angular in there.

raddevus wrote: it creates an MVC framework for client-side of web apps. That's really it. And that right there is your answer. It replaces server-side code with client-side code and does it extremely well. We're using Angular on one of our projects precisely because we wanted MVC on the client. We didn't want all the scaffolding C# MVC code on the server. We wanted something that would run on the client. All the business logic is embedded in ASP.NET WebAPI services which we reuse on our mobile apps. So the UI only needs to validate the user-input, and Angular again makes this extremely easy and simple too.
Just because there is hype doesn't imply the technology is a fad. There is hype around almost any / all technologies these days. Some of this hype is warranted, some not so much.
Angular does exactly what it says on the tin, and does so very well indeed.
"There are two ways of constructing a software design: One way is to make it so simple that there are obviously no deficiencies, and the other way is to make it so complicated that there are no obvious deficiencies. The first method is far more difficult." - C.A.R. Hoare
