A computer built to mimic the brain's neural networks produces similar results to that of the best brain-simulation supercomputer software currently used for neural-signaling research. Does it also remember the lyrics to the Spider-man theme, but forget important anniversaries?

Democratic ideals have given way to governments and corporate giants. "You have zero privacy anyway. Get over it."
And the money quote is well placed at the end, "I cannot imagine there will ever be a time at which the internet will become 'secure', when we can stop thinking about and actively pushing for security and privacy."

When activated, Morse code fills the keyboard area with two large dot and dash icons. As you tap the icons, word suggestions will appear at the top of the on-screen keyboard just as they do when you’re using the QWERTY version. -... . -.-. .- ..- ... . / -.-- --- ..- / -. . ...- . .-. / -.- -. --- .-- / .-- .... . -. / -.-- --- ..- / -. . . -.. / - --- / - .- .-.. -.- / .-- .. - .... / .- .-.. .-.. / ... .... .. .--. ... / .- - / ... . .- ..--..
But really, for the people that need it, this sounds helpful.

Plenty of career guides suggest appropriate steps to take if you want a management track. But what if you want to stay technical—and simply become the best possible programmer? These non-obvious markers let you know you’re on the right path. With great power comes great mistakes (oh, and responsibility)

Named WellMess, this malware affects both Linux and Windows operating systems. While the basic functionality of the both versions of the malware remains the same, there are some minor differences. I guess "Go" has finally arrived if the malware folk are using it
Better than the Tiobe list, IMO.

Contrary to widely-held opinion, taking high school calculus isn't necessary for success later in college calculus—what's more important is mastering the prerequisites, algebra, geometry, and trigonometry—that lead to calculus. Knowing fundamentals are key to success? Why has no one told me this before?
