Since the Windows 10 Creators Update in 2017 Microsoft offered a Fresh Start feature in Windows Security which allowed users to re-install Windows 10 while keeping your data intact. I'm starting to think the Win10 developers need a fresh start

Besides the ones that should be hitting the head against the desk (and pretty hard by the way) are they at Microsoft.

Fed up with the DRM in a General Electric refrigerator that pushed the owner to buy expensive manufacturer-approved replacement water filters, an anonymous hacker went to the trouble of buying a domain name and setting up a website at gefiltergate.com to pen a screed about appliance digital rights restriction management (DRM) and how to bypass it. Please insert disk one to continue using "your" fridge

Thanks to "internet of things" companies that prioritized profits over consumer privacy and the safety of the internet, we're now facing a security and privacy dumpster fire that many experts believe will, sooner or later, result in even bigger security and privacy headaches than we're seeing today. Contains 23% of the daily requirement of WTF?! and 50% of 'you're kidding'?

As if the big ones were not already doing a good job against privacy and security without IoT.

Microsoft’s explanation of Project Reunion was not clear to many developers. Developers had doubts about whether Project Reunion is an application model like UWP or is it a new packaging or isolation model. "Come together right now"

That, to me, looks like a survey of JetBrains users, with statistics one may expect from such a survey.

Open source is a great way for a developer to build her personal brand--it turns out it's good for employers, too. So make sure you have your best Salvador Dali moustache on when you submit a pull request
meh. I've done better. I obviously need to do more work on open source to get more creative.

Since the release of the Windows 10 1903/1909 KB4535996 and Windows 10 2004 KB4557957 cumulative updates, Windows users have been reporting that they receive errors that programs are missing when they attempt to launch them. Sadly, Windows Update not one of the affected programs

Over the past few months, a new wave of bitcoin ransom scam has been reported which targets website owners by claiming their sites to be hacked and asking 1500 – 3000 USD worth of bitcoins. Hackers too lazy to even bother hacking the site before asking for money? Where is the world going to?
