Windows 10X has had a rough time of it. It was first announced in October 2019 as an OS for dual-screen devices, even releasing some emulators that you can still download. Aw, shucks
I'm so waiting for the cancellation notice.

Ah yes, I can just imagine the internal arguments: Is it suitable for release? What really is its niche? Should we add X and Y? Phrases like "on your head be it", and so on.
Yes, I know, I'm imagining it.

Like any advanced technology, hackers and thieves are always up to the challenge, whether that's unlocking your phone with your face while you sleep or using a photo from social media to do the same. Are you happy to see me, or are you just trying to log into your phone?

Microsoft.Data.SqlClient 3.0 Preview 1 has been released. This release contains improvements and updates to the Microsoft.Data.SqlClient data provider for SQL Server. For those that prefer their cross-platform solution to target a specific database
OK, the retry logic looks like it could come in handy

Justin Long, he of the seminal "Get A Mac" campaign, takes Intel's money to mock MacBooks. Is this a good strategy for Intel? Especially as Long has already shilled for Huawei. Do any of the cool kids even remember those advertisements?

Microsoft is automatically installing the WebView2 runtime on Windows 10 machines to support upcoming versions of the Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Office applications. I'm sure that no one will use it for incorrect purposes
I guess technically it's never incorrect if they use it intentionally?

Along with the announcement about the release of Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 21337, Microsoft today announced that Notepad app is now updateable via the Microsoft Store outside major OS updates. I guess we have finally achieved the Future

I hope that means that they'll also upgrade Outlook's html viewer to use something newer than a 20+ year old rendering engine.
Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, weighing all things in the balance of reason?
Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful?

Access management outfit BeyondTrust has urged organizations to remove admin rights from users, arguing that doing so would have at least mitigated more than 100 vulnerabilities in Microsoft products last year. I wonder what else would have stopped 100 vulnerabilities in Microsoft products last year?

Because Linux never has serious security vulnerabilities, right?
Or if it does, the fact that it's open source means they don't survive for long, right?

Back in 1921, Dr. Charles P. Steinmetz, the pioneering inventor and mathematician, was published in a Massachusetts newspaper predicting what the fantastical world of 2021 would look like. Better than my guesses about 2121, probably (except about the rampaging zombies)
