Without reading the article, given what I see in recruitment and contracting power:
C, C++, some Assembly is always appreciated;
Some microcontroller (Infineon and ST are two good candidates);
SPICE procedure;
A working understanding of basic digital and analog electronics, better if coupled with some mechanical knowledge.

LastPass is likely knowingly restricting users from exporting their passwords while putting their new pricing plan into effect. When are Reddit reporters wrong?

Not sure if that's going to be sustainable in the long term. I wonder how muvh time will it take for a "fight club" to happen.

My theory is that the CEO is trying to juice current quarter numbers to get a bonus prior to a not-yet-announced departure. IOW the decision maker doesn't give an about the pending GDPR fine or the number of users whose rage-pay to get their data back is immediately followed by rage-quitting to a rival.

There's been a lot of discussion on Hacker News recently about the quality of Google Search, and whether it’s deteriorated. Googled "Is Google search deteriorating" and got very thought-provoking, intelligent Quora results. So there's that.

Yes.

Deteriorating would be better than managed to control narratives.
|
|
|
|

Both? My searches usually involve verbatim search for technical stuff where a narrative doesn't really exist, and verbatim, which used to be good, ends up with a lot of crap in it now whereas it didn't before.

I haven't noticed because I've pretty much switched to DuckDuckGo, which has improved a lot over the past 6 months.

Every time I tried it, I became super frustrated. Google's verbatim search, even deteriorated, always did far better. But I've noticed that Google sometimes doesn't include all the terms in my search any more, so the results are no longer as precise. Maybe I'll give the duck another try.
