In the grand scheme of a software engineering path, there's a thread that weaves through every project, every failure, and every challenge. That thread is people. Can't beat 'em, can't...wait, can you beat them?

On the other hand... the easiest way: listen what the have to say and show respect.
That would solve the biggest part of issues with most of the people, no matter if software engineer or other archetype.

This month's Patch enables a kernel security vulnerability fix by default, something Microsoft had cautioned back in June that it could potentially break something on your system, though it didn't really go into much detail about it. As opposed to the ones that will break your system without warning

Shades of the Anti-Virus company screaming with Vista. AV companies were routinely degrading XP's security by bypassing the documented APIs and inserting themselves directly into the kernel dispatch tables. Vista's original design blocked this by default and the AV companies went beserk.

A series of mistakes by both Microsoft and third-party vendors have shown OneDrive to be an easily tricked piece of software eager to encrypt anything it can get a junction to. The Cloud(tm) strikes again

Would be a pissed employee be dangerous? Or only his/her own data would be at risk (depending on who, that could already be bad enough)?

I suppose you’re right, but it just struck me as another of those “if they get access to your computer, they can do bad stuff” kind of story. I mean, yeah. That’s how bad stuff happens usually.

Microsoft announced a go-live support license is the next step for .NET MAUI, an improvement on mobile-centric Xamarin as it targets desktop apps too. "We're homeward bound from the Arctic ground, rolling down to old Maui"
Good luck to all those on Maui. Hopefully all the help they need gets there, and the recovery is swift.

Last week I spent over 20 minutes trying to recover my father's Steam account.
Does the concept of bike include Vespas? Is the picture of the handlebar in the upper right also considered a bike picture? How about the crosswalk, does the red illuminated sign in the distance count or am I only looking for lines on the street?
We abandoned Steam and bought the game via the Microsoft store - we were able to find the product, download it, and start playing in less time than I'd spent playing Captcha roulette. Captcha cost Steam a customer.
