In a new study published today in Science, researchers achieved a rare event -- simultaneously proving Albert Einstein both right and wrong. But what was the warp factor?
I hope it wasn't over five, for safety's sake

Well, that's a time warp. That was proven years ago. May 29, 1919
It's the first time this effect has been seen from stars other than the Sun.
Damn, I thought our sun was special!
And seriously? We've been seeing pictures of gravitation lensing from galaxies for years now. I guess galaxies aren't made of stars.

That's what I thought as well, but people seemed to be excited about this, so maybe there was something new?

Precisely, the headline is entirely wrong and misleading. Just for a change.

There are many exciting aspects to .NET Core (open source, cross platform, x-copy deployable, etc.) that have been covered in posts on this blog before. To me, though, one of the most exciting aspects of .NET Core is performance. "Hey, buddy, how can I get this car out of second gear?"

Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, waging all things in the balance of reason?
Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful?

Essentially, what they're saying is: there's sod-all use in being a moderate drinker so you might as well do it properly.
