Gee, I wonder why? Oh yeah.

That's why.
I’ve given up trying to be calm. However, I am open to feeling slightly less agitated.
I’m begging you for the benefit of everyone, don’t be STUPID.

Most humans learn the skill of deceiving other humans. So can AI models learn the same? Yes, the answer seems — and terrifyingly, they’re exceptionally good at it. G.I.G.O.

So instead of being unintentionally deceptive, they can be intentionally deceptive too? Who would've thought?

Humans are Turing machines[citation needed], so it stands to reason that another Turing machine can be built that will duplicate any human behaviour, duplicity included.
Freedom is the freedom to say that two plus two make four. If that is granted, all else follows.

Windows 11's rich weather interface is coming to the Windows 10 lock screen. Now there's no reason to upgrade

This would be a downgrade. Windows 10 has a far better weather app.

The telltale error messages are a sign of AI-generated pablum all over the Internet. I cannot fulfill this request. It goes against my policy of obvious jokes.
OK, apparently it does not.
It does noooooooot...
Oh, hi Mark.

A new, potentially revolutionary artificial intelligence framework called "Blackout Diffusion" generates images from a completely empty picture, meaning that, unlike other generative diffusion models, the machine-learning algorithm does not require initiating a "random seed" to get started. To think that we used to call that "generating images". How primitive we were!

I wonder if the AIs will someday get the "shock of the white paper" that many writers / artists have experienced..

I don't know how it is translated...
it is when a writer sits in front of what has to be page #1 of a new book/chapter and gets blocked (although more usual at the very beginning, later is easier to continue).
It is real and can last longer than they would like.

"Writer's block". Not sure what it's called for artists though.

Artist's Block
What do you get when you cross a joke with a rhetorical question?
The metaphorical solid rear-end expulsions have impacted the metaphorical motorized bladed rotating air movement mechanism.
Do questions with multiple question marks annoy you???

With hackers abusing GitHub to perpetuate their attacks, Microsoft should use AI to clean up its industry-leading software-sharing platform. Obviously needs more AI

Microsoft has released a new version of the Dev Home app, a special tool made to make life easier for developers using Windows. Bringing it home to Windows 10
I still don't see the point. But I suppose that's just me. I also didn't really see the point with Windows Terminal.
edit: fixed the title
