Seeing what happens lately... either they have broken other things to do this or will only work until next update

Microsoft is believed to be working on a major Windows 10 update codenamed "Sun Valley" and "Windows 10++". "It happened In Sun Valley not so very long ago"
Yeah, a dupe, but with enough of a different focus (IMO) to post on a slow news day.

It could either be Sun Valley, Idaho--beautiful--or Sun Valley, CA--sh*thole.

That's the connection I had wanted to make originally, but my brain was failing on the other (California <- generic scuzzy LA in so many movies) one. Thank you.

Why don't they call it Windows 11?? Or Weleven...

Because Window 10 was supposed to be the ultimative version and last Windows ever?

Windows 10++ sounds like they're rewriting it in C++. I have an article for them!

Microsoft now allows users of the Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL) to run commands automatically on WSL distribution startup. Oh, this won't lead to anything bad at all...

Looking at how some people "communicate"... that should not be that difficult.
On the other hand... claiming something, doesn't necessarily mean really being able of it.

I'm holding my breath for an AI to be able to distinguish between:

facts and conspiracy theories
ethical and not
intelligent and stupid
emotional intelligence and psychopathic

A report published today by the Consortium for Information & Software Quality (CISQ) estimates poor software quality collectively cost companies in the U.S. an estimated $2.08 trillion in 2020. Everyone put a quarter in the bug jar, and we'll have it paid off in no time

Has anyone questioned the quality of their attempts to calculate, at least theoretically input data algorithms?
And speaking of input data - over the course of my career, the quality of the data that the software uses in directly proportional to the "holistic" quality of the software.
It would be a more fruitful study, IMO, if it looked at just how absolutely crappy the data source is.
GIGO.
