It's basic pattern recognition, but that doesn't get you published. Call it empathy and fret about it taking over the world; that will generate checks.

Intel took the time at CES to offer a preview of its next major chip release: its hybrid Alder Lake chipsets, which — like its Lakefield predecessor — will utilize an approach similar to Arm’s BIG.little technology, using high-performance and high-efficiency cores in a single package to maximize both power and efficiency. Do they come in Salt&Vinegar?
Or All-dressed?

With 2021 finally here, Microsoft is planning on releasing some exciting new features and updates this year for Windows 10 operating system and other products. I'm going out on a limb here and guess, "patches"?

Patches? no, that would imply fixing something. It'll be more icons and features that we never knew we needed.

We identify some of the hot areas where software developers can focus their attention to better stand out from the crowd in a challenging job market. The ability to troubleshoot a video conference call?
The ability to write a Twitter clone (with security)?
The ability to look busy while working from home?

With Linux 5.10 having shipped as the latest Long Term Support (LTS) release to be maintained for at least the next five years, a discussion has begun over dropping a number of old and obsolete CPU platform support currently found within the mainline kernel. Guess it's time to upgrade that PowerPC

As long as they don't do as MS and give the possibility to find the older versions where they are still supported... why not? If it helps to make it perform better / have better security in modern hardware I would say yes.

This includes improvements around HTTP, Sockets, networking-related security, and other networking primitives. Sorry, still no Gopher

I wonder how many of those improvements are needed to have (better?) interrelation of Windows with Teams / Skype, Telemetry and / or other MS products ?

What about beer? Is that an upgrade?

Yeah, the twist-offs probably need a special attachment. But at least it should be able to bring it over (you don't want the robot opening your beer anyway - it might spit in it)

And you pay how much for something that takes you a few minutes a day and maybe an hour a week (for laundry, though I note it picks it up, not does it)?
