If a co-worker was to spontaneously combust (à la Garth Marenghi's Darkplace) in your office, what you might expect to one day slough off the ceiling and slap atop your computer screen would be this anthropomorphic webcam No, I don't think it would. Nope. Uh-uh. No how.

I don't know why, but I would have expected this being posted by OG in his "IoT Crap" series in the lounge...
yeah, I know, that doesn't necessarily fall into IoT... but still connected to the internet and crappy (and creepy) enough

You aren't the only one feeling like you're giving more than you're getting from your employer – a chunk of Microsofties are of the same opnion. "Big boss man, can't you hear me when I call?"
But -- free soft drinks and coffee? Isn't that a great deal?

In this case that could be a not so small difference...

In my early 20s I travelled up the coast to a hippy town (Nimbin) right near Byron Bay.
We'd taken a tent, so wouldn't want one of the on-sites.
The signs all called it a combi-van park. Hmmmm. Yup, on-site combis to sleep in. Someone had opened and offered us 1/2 a plastic supermarket bag full of pot for $10 a few minutes earlier, in the town's main street, with no more secrecy than someone asking for a cigarette.
Anyhow, the office at the park was up a tree and the flower-garden by the communal kitchen had a spindly 2 ft dope plant trying to survive.
Well.... you did say "Any".

The U.S. government is considering issuing an executive order that would require vendors to provide a software bill of materials (SBOMs). Caution: may contain nuts
Or at least - made in a facility that contains nuts

That's an extraordinarily high percentage for a politician.

Structured Query Language (SQL) at scale can lead to unstructured, unmaintainable database code - at least as far as Google is concerned - so boffins affiliated with the biz have devised an open source logical programming language to make SQL more amenable to maintenance. But then how would I be a SELECT individual?
Quote: Here's how a basic query might look in Logica code:
MagicComment(comment_text:) :-
`comments`(user_id:, comment_text:),
user_id == 5;
And here's the equivalent in SQL:
SELECT comment_text FROM comments WHERE user_id = 5;
Oh... Much clearer... /ugh
