in that casr check you mapping table may be its not mapped properly.

Invoice Table

i want to select these tables based on the Project name i give..
if the project doesnt have invoice also i have show the output as null in the corresponing row.
i given this query

p.dteStartDate,
p.dteFinalEndDate,
p.strDescription,
i.monTotalamount,

but it givs the value only if the project has invoice record.
can any one help me??

Hello,
I have a problem with my project. This Project is written by C#.It accesses SQL Server 2005 via Webservice & Seasar.
On the webvervice, I include some package that was built to DLL. Those package retrieve their database.
When I run my project. I must update their database the first. Then, update my project's database.
But i cannot settup the transaction for them.
I wannt to rollback th updated data on their database if updating on my project's database is failt.

Hey guys/girls, Im an amateur programmer looking for a little help.
Im working on an app that tracks ins and outs of a paintball field. My problem is this.
I have a db with 3 tables all working fine. I can add, delete view print one or all of the records. Two columns in my inventory table are 'Qty Sold' and Qty on Hand'. What I want to be able to do is click a button on my main form and have the 'Qty Sold' column increment and the 'Qty Sold' column decrement for the appropriate row. For instance I want to be able to click the 'Paintballs-Case' button and have the 'Qty on Hand' go down by one and the 'Qty Sold' go up by one. IM not tracking prices or anything like that, I just need to be able to know how much of what went out at the end of the day.
Im using an SQL database. My rows are headed by the 'Item' field.
Id appreciate any help anyone would be willing to give me.

in the button click event just write an update query!
you can simply have update tablename set q_sold=q_sold+1, Q_hold=Q_hold -1 where itemtype = item the user selected at the front end

Thanks for the replu.
I built the query and it seems to work fne when I execute it in the querybuilder.
My question now is when I use the query in the btnclick event, how do I reference the specific items I want changed?(IE the Paintballs500 row)

I'm using SQL Server Express, and I've seen the option to provide a SA password, instead of using the default windows authentication. But doesn't this only deal with the server portion. What I'm concerned about is password protecting, maybe encrypting, the MDF file itself, in the event that the file is stolen off the server. If there is any easy was to do this, any help and points in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

IIRC, change the sa password to something other than the default, then there isn't any good stealing the .mdf file...
