Yes it is. And since it's native for Sql Server, I'd say you have lot's of opportunities when you play with it

I trust the Emergency Room is strictly staff only, the Evaluation Report is a work in progress, the Equipment Required is simply more, and the Entity Relationships are a business secret.

You forgot Encryption Rights. Although they are tough to decrypt.

I assume by 'er' you really mean Entity-relationship model? Correct? There used to be a site similar in setup to Code Project (not written by Chris), not sure what ever happened with it though. You might go looking around the web development articles and find something interesting to learn from.
Common sense is admitting there is cause and effect and that you can exert some control over what you understand.

When a variable in my stored procedure contains an apostrophe, it returns me an error.
CREATE PROCEDURE sp_GetEZQueryList @@sUser as nchar(500), @@sSupervisor as char(1), @@sAllowed as varchar(8000) AS
--set @@sUser = REPLACE(@@sUser, '''''','''''')
IF @@sSupervisor <> 'Y'
SELECT
EzqDateMod, EzqFlxID, EzqUserName, EzqName, EzqData, EzqDescrip
FROM EZQuery
WHERE (EzqUserName=@@sUser)
OR (EzqUserName='SYSTEM' AND Cast(EzqFlxID as varchar(10)) IN (select * FROM intlist_to_tbl(@@sAllowed)))
ELSE
SELECT
EzqDateMod, EzqFlxID, EzqUserName, EzqName, EzqData, EzqDescrip
FROM EZQuery
GO
The SP is retrieving @@sUser from VB and its getting the value Do'Sullivan.
When I ran a trace I found it is executing the SP like this
exec sp_getezquerylist 'DO' + CHAR(39) + 'SULLIVAN', 'n', '100'
Think + CHAR(39) + is causing the error
Thanks
Waiting for your suggestions

You might be able to do something like this with two columns. Put a normal running number in one column and then populate the other column based on the value in the first one:
Col 1 Col 2
1 0001
...
999 0999
...
9999 9999
10000 A001
etc.
My advice is free, and you may get what you paid for.

I'm trying to display an SSRS report in a ReportViewer control in a WinForms application. Here's the Form_Load...
private void Form1_Load(object sender, EventArgs e)
{
reportViewer1.ServerReport.ReportServerUrl = new Uri("http://192.168.2.5/reportserver");
reportViewer1.ServerReport.ReportServerCredentials.NetworkCredentials = CredentialCache.DefaultCredentials;
string reportFile = @"C:\Report Project1\Report1.rdl";
reportViewer1.ServerReport.ReportPath = reportFile;
reportViewer1.ProcessingMode = ProcessingMode.Remote;
reportViewer1.ServerReport.DisplayName = "Corporate View Report";
ReportParameter[] parameters = new ReportParameter[3];
parameters[0] = new ReportParameter("@ProjectId", "6");
parameters[1] = new ReportParameter("@PrimaryWhseId", "8293");
parameters[2] = new ReportParameter("@SecondaryWhseId", "8290");
reportViewer1.ServerReport.SetParameters(parameters);
try
{
reportViewer1.RefreshReport();
}
catch(Exception ex)
{
throw ex;
}
}
With the reportViewer1.ServerReport.SetParameters(parameters); line uncommented, at this point the form pops ups, the repot is blank, and nothing else happens after that.
If I comment out the parameters and run it the form runs and in the viewer control I get "The request failed with HTTP status 401: Unauthorized".
I can't find any examples of displaying a SSRS report in a WinForms application.
I could really use some help here.
Thanks
Everything makes sense in someone's mind
