There are five articles in the queue at the moment:
S.M.A.R.T. API for .NET[^]
HostsMan[^]
Easy Link File Viewer[^]
.NET Assembly Info[^]
HardwareStress[^]
And they are all by the same member: ElektroStudios - Professional Profile[^]
Trouble is, they are all the same format: a one line description, a big hunk of "Donate via PayPal!", and a bunch of pictures.
Which isn't an article, so I've gone for "Extremely poor quality" - but I really don't like the "Donate" bit at all. For me, that's too close to spam; it's pretty obviously the bit of the "article" he's put the most work into in each case, and the main reason for the post.
Should we allow this? Any thoughts people?

Totally against the spirit of what we do here. That's not even vaguely acceptable (not to mention they've plagiarised the Visual Studio logo).

On a serious note, how can someone "sign up" a different user as a "co-author" without their permission?

That's a very good question! A suggestion at Bugs and Suggestions perhaps?

You can add anyone you want as a co-author. However, when the article is published an email is sent to all co-authors asking them to confirm they are actually co-authors. Anyone who doesn't verify isn't listed on the final article.
