Spam articles never get fed to the automated system, so once the user is gone it can just be deleted. I only leave it 'til then so that others can confirm it's spam.
With abusive messages, don't delete them - Chris is happy to have them "picked up" by the automated system as if they were spam, which makes sense.

There are entire university degrees built around cyber security and they teach you how to hack so that you can know how to prevent and protect from hacks. There is nothing wrong teaching someone how to hack. We would all be better programmers if we knew how to hack more.
We need to stop being so uptight about the terms "hacking" or "virus." In this case, OP's intent did not seem misguided.

While I have mixed emotions about teaching how to hack something (if I was qualified..) I think kicking him just for asking isn't justified.

It sounds a plausible reason (i.e. at Work url filtering), maybe give a second chance to the user?
