The poster of a would be article: http://www.codeproject.com/Members/RajatKPati[^] that I reported below, has two existing tips.
A quick check finds the first one: How to Post Messages to Yammer Group through Yammer API with the Help of Javascript SDK?[^] is copied from here: http://blogs.technet.com/b/israelo/archive/2014/10/21/yammer-js-sdk-for-dummies.aspx[^] (unless Pakistan is now a suburb of Israel, which I doubt)
The second one: How to Join Any Yammer Group Programmatically with the Help of JavaScript SDK?[^] is also taken from teh same source, with a few words juggled about.

Oh dear...at least find two different places to steal from... Sigh | :sigh:
