This: JavaScript 'this' keyword - under the hood - CodeProject[^]
Smells like plagiarism, but I can't find the exact text anywhere.
It's bits like "We will discuss this later" with no further discussion that make it smell, I suspect.
Thoughts? Opinions?
[edit]
It got through as a full article, and someone (presumably the "author" voted it a 5!
JavaScript 'this' Keyword - Under the Hood[^]
Even if not plagiarised (and I still suspect it is) it's total garbage..."Extremely poor quality" votes to close it please!

Bad command or file name. Bad, bad command! Sit! Stay! Staaaay...

Until now, I did not find that it is plagiarized. Ok, the "Finders" I used are not really convincingly.
From my Point of view it is far away from an article and the discussion of "this" does not help me a lot.
Even Though, I think a detailed discussion of "this" can help a lot for beginners to become familiar with this term.
Only my mind, Bruno.

Well, he might have re-worded the information. (I also could not find the source, if plagiarized)
But still, in my opinion, the article is just surface level information about 'this' keyword in JavaScript and might mislead the reader. This might be an abstract or summary of poor quality, but should not be called as article.
So, I flagged it as 'Unclear or Incomplete'.
Life is a computer program and everyone is the programmer of his own life.

Me too didn't find any source that may make it plagiarised, but even then...This should not went thru...It is an empty shell of nothing...No tip even...
Skipper: We'll fix it.
Alex: Fix it? How you gonna fix this?
Skipper: Grit, spit and a whole lotta duct tape.

It looks like he has read Understand JavaScript's "this" With Clarity, and Master It[^] and tried to write his own article about the parts he understand.
You are right that this should be reported as poor quality because it is so incomplete that it is misleading too. I would have tagged all of those if there were report check boxes.

What gets me is that five moderators went "yeah, that's good" ...

I think there are some that don't even look at the article/tip itself, just the title, and approve/reject based on that.
What do you get when you cross a joke with a rhetorical question?
The metaphorical solid rear-end expulsions have impacted the metaphorical motorized bladed rotating air movement mechanism.
Do questions with multiple question marks annoy you???
