The first article has been there since January, 24th 2012. And the second since June, 1st 2012. At that time it is possible that the rules were not as clearly established as today regarding article and tip/trick distinction.
I don't think Michael has misused anything.

Drove into attention without any note of what has changed.
Sorry for me it is abuse. But ok he is a high rep member like you so please strike out my report.
It does not solve my Problem, but it answers my question

I cannot strike any report, and it is your absolute right to flag an article when you think it has been mis-categorized. My only concern about your post is that I do not think it is an abuse from the author.

Kind regards.

Question: If you think this crap 'articles' are worth to count as articles it should be my future measurement? Ok I will follow the choir.... will I do it really, not sure.
It is not the first time that high rep mem go for high rep mem... and I hate it.

As I told you, you are entitled to your opinion and have the right to accordingly flag any article of which you think it has been wrongly categorized. I simply do not think these articles are crap, and I also am entitled to my opinion.
And your question does not make any sense to me, sorry for that

If you look at the revisions you will see that quite a lot of the editing was done by CP staff. If they are happy for it to be published as an article then we should be too.

Michael Haephrati wrote: These are articles and not tips. I would have published them today. Would you have published today, I would have gone for "wrong type" myself too.
Michael Haephrati wrote: The article about looking for a reliable hardware ID is based on a long research and real life project. But the length of the annexed project / source code is not a criterium for article. It is the explanation you do about the source code what counts for me. If you published them today with that little explanation you should go for tip/trick or a project. At least, this is my opinion

If something has a solution... Why do we have to worry about?. If it has no solution... For what reason do we have to worry about?

If they were new posts today, I would report as "wrong type", you can go for "incomplete" if you want a nuking kind of report but I don't see any reason to go for "abuse".
There is a bug too, I am not sure if you know about. Sometimes when CP-Staff (Editors like Deeksha or Sean or even Chris) edit a post, they get changed to an article. It often happens with blogs, but I have seen tip/tricks that get "promoted" to articles without the author knowing it.

I know... that's why I am explaining it to 0x01AA.
I partially agree with him. On the other hand I am just tired of those "high rep members" BS comments
