The USA is the default if you don't actively go in and change it. I realise those names are made-up but he has also used 'Suresh' (and others I can't recall). His use of English is reminiscent of how some Indians talk/speak it.
Whether he is Indian or not, he is not American or English, and got offended by some light poking which wouldn't necessarily have upset an American or Englishman.

Before reporting here you should ask him if he is the author of the Github hosted project (9lean (@_dgeek) · GitHub[^]). He uses the same profile picture here and on the web page linked on the Github profile and the forum message on his CP profile page can be also found there.
So it is likely the same person.

Check the post on his CP profile post and feed the title to a search machine. You will find it on his Linkedin profile and his webpage (9lean). His name seems to be Deepak K Gupta which matches the 'dkg' part of the CP user name.
If you are still not sure, ask him posting a comment on the pending article.
