In Datalink properties if i click server name refresh it shows empty only sir. how to bring that there i don't know sir. My userid password is userid is root and pwd is mysql but if i enter that it shows error sir on data link properties.

I am trying this example(and others), but i got the same error on every example. Of course even the error message says: object se.... i do not know why and neither the answer.
On every example i see: the error is always in the same definition.
i am using vs studio 2019

Hi,
I am using the TcpClient and I run Connect and then talk to a device on my network.. This works fine.
its something like 192.168.1.123. If my work VPN is connected.. Forticlient.. then the TCPClient Connect does not work. The VPN has a different network something like 10.230.x.x. So want to find out why this happens. If I disconnect the VPN it fixes.
The code is C# something like..
TcpClient client = new TcpClient();
client.Connect(ipaddress,port);
This creates an exception.. "A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond"..

This has nothing to do with your code. This is just how your VPN works.
When your corporate (I'm assuming) VPN starts up, for security reasons, you cannot have your network adapter sitting in both the 10.x and 192.168.x networks at the same time. Any traffic going through the network adapter is sent to the 10.x network.
You cannot bypass this.

Thanks that is handy to know.. so I will need to try to work out if the connection then is a VPN.. so I can inform the user that the tool will not work properly when connecting to the device.

Hi!
When i run my code with a excel document with words in, it works, but at fast as i read a document with numbers only i get error on marked line in code.

and the error is:

I have a little hard to see why this happends, hope on you experts!

Not all Cells are hard typed, only when you set the property on the cell explicitly.
Excel makes only strings SharedString by default.
So you need to check if the DataType property has been set, that is 'c.DataType != null'.

I want the MySQL 5.7.21 server to be installed from my application why the user downloaded it from the net. My application is ris.msi programmed in VS2015 with c #. The application is installed on the user's machine by clicking on ris.msi without any problems. During the installation of ris.msi I want to install MySQL Server 5.7.21 on the user machine. When I install ris.msi on my machine, everything works ok, but when ris.exe runs on the user's machine, the application cannot connect to the MySQL server. On my machine this works without problems, ris.msi is installed, I run ris.exe and I work with all the tables in the MySQL server, just like I do in VS2015.

Don't.
If you want a single user Db, use a single user DB: Access, SQLite, ...
If you want a multiuser DB, use a server based system: SQL Server or MySql
But don't install a multiuser DB unless you are going to have multiple users using it simultaneously.
There are a couple of reasons:
1) They may already have SQL Server / MySql installed on the network. If so, then they will presumably want to use that version.
2) If they do have a server installed and you start proliferating instances, you are going to annoy the heck out of the database administrator...
3) A single site installation of a server DB system is a lot more likely to be backed up than a number of scattered version under user control.
4) Server DB's are quite complex for a "normal" user to install and administer - it is not a good idea!
5) It will destroy the primary advantage of using a Server over SqlCE or SQLite - multiuser access. If everyone installs their own copy of SQL server, then you will have multiple copies of your database, each used by a single person. This will cause some confusion, and (depending on how you wrote the original database) may take some considerable effort to combine into a single instance when the problem is realized.

Ok, there doesn’t have to be more bases. This is a RIS.exe demo program that is located on only one computer, so it is necessary to install the MySQL database only on the computer where the program is. So the user can try out my program, which requires a MySQL database. It needs to be installed and then uses mysqld.exe. I am using MYSQL 5.7.21.0 and I developed the program in MS Visual Studio 2015. Thanks for the help.

I've set my own computer up with Apache/PHP/MySQL several times, and it has always required some manual configuring before everything was just right. I did that to learn, but there are several WAMP packages that install with everything configured automatically. If you don't know, WAMP is Apache, MySQL, and PHP in a package for Windows, thus WAMP.
Consider getting one of those packages and including it separately with your demo, and just instruct the clients to first install the WAMP and then install your demo.
As you move forward, consider adding more flexibility to your application so it doesn't have to have specifically a local MySQL database. Even if you stay with MySQL, the database should be able to be located anywhere, and all that needs to change is the connection string. Good luck!

It's a model where we put our company ID card on to read our company registration number.

* SOLID mythodology.
* Dependency Injection
* Levels of Try, Catch, throw, and finally statements and how they work
* The tenants of Object Oriented Programming such as polymorphism, enacpsulation, etc.
* Unit Testing (are interfaces used somehow)
* The difference between an abstract class and interface
* garbage collection and when to override or overload it
* difference between override or overload
* Is there inheritance in C# ?
* What is an interface used for?
I am posting this here to see of anyone can add to this list. I am asking about general topics, not specific interview questions.

A completely useless endeavor as there are thousands of possible interview questions and you can't memorize it all.
Part of the interview process is how you handle (and answer) questions you don't know the answer to.

This. I have a couple of topics (IDisposable and async). I do warn up front that my goal is to see how they reason about things they do not know for sure, so they should expect I ask them things they do not know. I give this warning as the goal is not to test how they deal with panic, but how they reason. While it can be nice to test how people deal with panic, it is luckily not something we need resilience against on a daily basis - so reasoning is more important.
The nice things about these topics is they are simple on the surface but quite complicated once you dig into them. So the topics works for juniors as well as people with a lot of experience.

Every EXE file needs an entry point: this is the static Main method which either contains the application code (for a console app) or runs the actual Application by creating an instance of the main form (for a Windows GUI app).
For GUI apps you will normally find it it the program.cs file, which is created for you when you create a new Project.
