I'm not confused; I've just never had a reason to fire an OnPropertyChanged event when "setting an entire collection"; particularly in the context of simply communicating with EF (regardless of the type of collection: array or otherwise).

What is supposed to happen (in your case) when the OnPropertyChanged event fires?

Who or what is subscribing to that event?
