accesing Gridview Data in javascript function

i am devloping a web application in which i have a gridview
contains two textbox as a template field.
i want to get the data filled in the gridview in the javascript function on the button click.
for the validation purpose so how can i do the same.

I am new to C#.Net window application.
I have table categories where the following values are stored.

You can see the relation between Cate and MC
The child node’s MC = Cate of Parent Node. I am finding problem to construct treeview in visual studio 2005 and C#.Net window application.

The Main Problem is :
1) How can we count the parent , child and grandchild node by firing query?
2) How can we add childnode at exact below its correct parent node?
3) How can we display the information in Listview from table for selected node?

Please help me on this topic and get bless from god! My project has to be completed in next 2 days. Please help me! Thanx In advance!

I wrote a code for this a month ago but now I do not remember it correctly. However, I'll try to explain Wink | ;)

All you need a funtion and a generic list to hold all these values. eg.

They can't. They have to authenticate themselves as a user with sufficient privileges.

Hi,

There are several ways to do it, here is one using the RegistryKey classes:

// create 2 registry entries to get an entry in the Explorer context menu for all files and folders:
// (replace AllFilesystemObjects by * for files not folders)
// HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AllFilesystemObjects\Shell\appname.ContextMenu:
//		(Default) Open using myApp

you would need admin privileges to do this.

I am unaware of a registry key supporting the desktop context menu.
There must be ways to do it programmatically, sending some Windows messages to the desktop Window,
it is a simple ListView after all. However I don't know any details, never saw it, never needed it.

You can replay a cd, not a post Smile | :)

But to call events like you would like, you have to call it just like a function:

public void Button1_Clicked(object sender, EventArgs e)

}

To be honest: this is not really neat.
To make it more beautifull, you should just make a function like this:

   doStuffFromButton2();
}

public void Button2_Clicked(object sender, EventArgs e)
{
   //do some stuff

Help anyone? I been haunted by this last few days and looks like it will continue and ruin my Easter holiday.

Then I would suggest that it is too complicated, for a first project.
It is a well established fact that all first projects, regardless of the technology/language being used, MUST be a 'Hello World!' app. Big Grin | :-D

If you are using VS2008 and .net 3.5 you can use the System.Management namespace. Have a look at this link.
