But for rotate, everything is off.... Re: Rotate and Resize a Rectangle musefan31-Mar-09 21:46 musefan 31-Mar-09 21:46  ahhhhh.... now i think i get your problem. if the rectangle is at a 45 degree angle then you need to be able to stretch/shrink it width ways or height ways. if this is correct then im not sure of the best method to take but initial thoughts would be to first detect which of the four points of the rectangle is furthest to the left, this one will not change, then all the others are moved to the right depending on how much the mouse has changed. then for the height you would move all points except the one furthest to the top. The enum has to be created before hand, but you can save the values to the database and parse them at run time by using Enum.Parse(). I tried adding something like this this.InvokePaint(((PictureBox)sender),new PaintEventArgs(this.CreateGraphics(), ((PictureBox)sender).ClientRectangle)); but it didn't make a difference, with or without the PictureBox only gets re-painted when the whole form gets re-painting, but not immediately.
