i need a wraper "class" for microsoft Enterprise Library caching in C# which can add and retrieve data.The developer must use this class for the data manipulation.As i am new to it.. i have no idea abt it. Pls help me..

My first question is about context menu. I was unable to find a way to make it work with form1 so I used this:

to drag form around. So I need one of these things: to drag form by panel or to make panel send mousedown to form or a way to show context menu strip by clicking on form1.
Second question is about form border style. I have already removed control box and now I'd like to make border invisible as well. For now, border is set to sizable and I need a way to either make sizable border transparent or find a way to resize form without border.
Third question is about anchoring. When I resize form the textbox(anchor set to all 4 sides) stretches by the same amount as the form instead of staying in original proportion to the form. How do I go about fixing this?
Fourth question. I plan to use the app I'm building for reading of various text/html documents. I thought of using richtextbox, however it doesn't allow transparent background. I looked at Alpha blended textbox and related articles and it looks too complex for my skill level. So since I plan to use it only for reading and not editing is there an easier way to do this?
Fifth question. How to make form snap to screen edge(any side)?
Any answer to these questions is much appreciated.

Answer for the third:
Set the anchor to no anchor should do the trick I think (rather then all 4 sides)
Answer for the fourth:
I don't know of any easy way to do this with C# - I've tried to find an easy way a few times myself, but it always ends up quite complex.
As for the other questions, I dont know off the top of my head, but hopefully these answers have helped.

[Edit: Just looked again, and saw the context menu one - you need to create a context menu control, and then goto the form and check out its properties. One of them is called ContextMenu or something, and the properties window will give you a drop down list of all context menus you have created. ]

About the first question. I found an answer elsewhere. 2nd bit of code disrupted it.
About the third, i tried all anchor combinations. Didn't work. Is there a way to fine tune by how much box stretches?
Edited: About fourth, I used this

3) Seems strange to me that it didn't work, but as a last resort you can do something along the lines of:
Text1.X = (this.Width / 2) - (Text1.Width / 2)
To centre a textbox - you would need to play with the formulas a bit, but hopefully this gives you a pointer.
4) Does surface have a clear method so that you can delete text? Also to wrap text, I'd google for printing in C# - it uses a graphics object to construct pages of an image, so you should be able to find out about text wrapping there.

I have been developing a project in Visual C# 2008 Express.
Now I want to move the project to another folder in my computer. Since there is no "Save As" in the IDE, how can I do this?
Also, I want to pack the solution source code to distribution (zip/rar). Which files should I pack? I know that I don't need obj and bin folders.. but what about the rest of the files?
Finally, just a quick request: can you give me an example of use of different projects inside one solution?

You can just copy the folder that contains your project to another folder, then open the csproj with file/project/open. If you have other projects in your solution, you can add them back manually.
Might be easiest to just zip up your project folder, then delete bin/obj folders from the zip.
Example of different projects in one solution:
Main Project
Controls
Data Access Layer
Business Access Layer

Hi there, I someone can help me... this is driving me nuts...
I have a form (with textboxes and buttons) with dynamically created user controls (BasePanel) when the user presses the Add button. On that user control is a textbox.
When that user control gets created, one of two possible user controls (GeneralEntry - initially - or EventEntry) are added to that user control, which contains a series of maskedtextboxes. If the user types a letter in this first maskedtextbox, then the GeneralEntry gets replaced with the EventEntry user control, which has a different series of maskedtextboxes.
Now, what I want to have happen is that on the last textbox on the form, when the user presses Tab, it goes to the first maskedtextbox on the GeneralEntry, but it doesn't... it goes to the textbox on the BasePanel.
I have tried assigning all the tab orders so that the all in the correct order, but there seems to be a precedence of controls... form, then user control, then next user control, etc...
I have also tried suppressing the Tab key and forcing the SelectNextControl... but that's not working either, as the Tab key doesn't seem to be able to be suppressed or handled.
Does anyone have any suggestions please?

Some keys are treated in different way than others. Probably tab key is one of them. I think you will need to handle that in ProcessCmdKey method.

What is the best way to parse an xml file?
the XML reader class or the Regex class?
I need to connect to an access database that could be located anywhere on the local system but will have a DSN set up in the ODBC connectors. I know how to read the reg and find out if the DNS is setup
can i write directly to the DSN or do I have to read the DSN settings and set my DB connection in the program?
