actually the service must perform functions according to the user that is why I need an icon for it, in other words : the user must be able to choose what the services must do in the next time.
OR, It is possible to let the service open an application (have it run), isn't it?

Hi,
I'm trying to write to a file which shud be .csv. I'm using streamwriter for that as
StreamWriter sw = new StreamWriter (Server.MapPath"~/ImportData/Files/"+_FileName),true,Encoding.Unicode);
Now the problem is, when i try to open the file in excel does not see the commas in the file and puts all data for that row in the first column. I can resolve this issue by replacing Unicode with Default, but this solve the problem only for culture english.
I should definatley go with Unicode, as i have to use this for different cultures.
Please, let me know if any ideas, as I'm stuck on this.

Have you even looked at the file in notepad to see if the commas are actually there?

Yeah, i looked in notepad......its perfect over there........As I said, when i give the encoding as default then it wrks perfect in english culture.... but it is mandatory that it shud also wrk in other cultures such as french and german.....it writes perfectly to the notepad....but when i try to open with excel it screws.....

I think it would be best to tell us what you are trying to achieve. Just adding an image property to a control won't really achieve all that much.

This will do it, but if you want the image to actually be drawn on your control you'll have alot more work to do.

I am assigning a generic colection to a datagridview.
I would like to change the positions of the columns in the datagridview control.
Do I do this in the control itself (If so, how) or do I change the column positions in the generic collection (If so, how)

I have a need to rezise the boarders of a number of PDF files. I need to add boarder to one side & remove boarder from another.
Does anyone know of a tool or toolkit that is capable of doing this without resizing the image itself?

Hi friend i am new in network programming and trying to develop a chat messenger. for this most of the portion has completed but still i have some problem with file sending to anothe user,
files like .zip,.jpeg ,though the file is transfer through socket and well accepted by the user ,but i cant understand where is the mistake i have done , only text file i can transfer to another user,or it also readable ,even word file i cant read.
if any one have the solution of this problem please help me....

Hi I am passing parameters to my console Application via Command Line
ex: MyApp.exe Path="C:\this.txt" Name=1
Now this works ok.
But Is it possible to send Parameters like
ex: MyApp.exe Path="C:\Folder (Test)\this.txt" Name=1

All need is MyApp.exe "C:\Folder (Test)\this.txt" 1
The delimiter for arguments is the space, as long as the path is enclosed in quotes you should be fine.

After many tries it seemt to me that there is NO safe way to programaticaly make change to a datagridview binded to a datatable in order to get those changes by the getchange method before updating database.
If data are entered manualy by the user : no problem
But if they are changed programaticaly, it seems that the changes are reflected at random :sometime yes, sometime no
The ONLY safe way I found is to use the DataBoundItem of the row in the DGV to acceed the row in the datatable and directly make changes in the datatable
Does anyone had such experience ?
