If you don't have any API documentation first and foremost, it sucks to be you! All I can suggest in that case is to visit the c++ forums and ask for help in reverse engineering the API from the dll files. -- Rules of thumb should not be taken for the whole hand. I don't think so.. avicap32.dll is an "old" native dll so Assembly.Load shouldn't work in this situation!
