It depends on what you are doing when handling the events. If you want to show the status in your GUI you should not directly change it from a different thread than the one in which the GUI was created. To perform this and cross the thread borders look at the documentation of the function Control.Invoke. If no GUI is affected there is (in my opinion) no necessisty to make those changes. Just make sure everything is synchronized Smile | :)
