I have read a demo about the Slide puzzle game.
http://www.codeproject.com/csharp/slidingpuzzle.asp[^]
It's great. But i need to know more. I would like to cut the image to any sharp, such as circle, wheel... not only square.
How can i do that?
More, how can i cut the image to several pieces with any sharp and then collect and join them into the original image by drag and drop them(a game call juzzle)?
Thanks in advance

Is it... There are so many people that say that their problem is urgent that I remain unconvinced.

What do you mean by that. What variables? What type of object are they?
kaushal654 wrote: In sametime I want to sort those value.
How would you like them sorted?
So, what work have you done so far in this urgent matter? Why not show us your code and we can help you fix it up.

It's been over an hour since I requested that you clarify your question. It is genuinely was urgent you would have replied by now. So, I can only conclude that putting urgent in the message was a deception.

I'm glad somebody got the reference The one problem with multinational sites like this is that most people don't get "Don't panic" and "We're doomed." I hope I can count on you - if not, I'm moving on the H2G2, Father Ted and Monty Python.

Hi Guys,
I was wondering if there are any object to do caching with in .Net that is not web related. I don't quite get why Microsoft included caching for asp.net, in the System.Web namespace, if clearly caching is necessary in more places than just for serving web pages.
Any views on this? Maybe I'm missing something?

Try the Microsoft Enterprise Library Caching block.

How do I use it? Where is it? Does it come with the .Net 2.0 library? If so, what namespace?
Thanks for your help.

Hi,
I have a string variable called strField. An example result is:
FirstName
How do I add in code so that the output result is:
"FirstName"
Please can someone help?
Regards
ma se

You use \" to put a quote in a string literal.
If you have the value in a variable:
strQuoted = "\"" + strField + "\"";
If you want to put the quotes in the original value:
strField = "\"FirstName\"";

Thanks.
I forgot that I am busy with a VB.NET project, I normally do C#. But getting back to your answer I did like you said, but then VB.NET adds a space after the \, like in:
writer.WriteLine("\"" & strRow & " \ "")
Then I get the following error:
Input string was not in a correct format.
Please excuse the VB code in the C# forum.

That's because you are trying to use C# escape codes in VB. You end up trying to divide the string "\" & strRow & " with the string "" . VB automatically tries to convert the strings to numbers, that's why you get the error message about incorrect format. You should use Option Strict On to prevent that kind of automatic conversions.
In VB you escape the quote by putting another quote in:
writer.WriteLine("""" & strRow & """")

Hello,
I'm trying to develop an application that handles 3D data and plots it using OpenGl.
Do you know of any good 3D Math library to use with c#?
For OpenGl I will try to use Tao Framework.
Thanks in advance
Just a c# newbie
