The problem is that some companies want the xml in different layout. In a very simple example, it will be like this: company nr.1: <user> <id>001</id> <name>username</name> </user> company nr.2: <user id="001"> <name>username</name> </user> I hope you can give me some advice on how to achieve this. A wav file is already (partially) binary. If you edit it you will need to know the internal format, as any changes which corrupt the internal structures will make it unplayable.
