Hi !
I do not think so.
> mssg.Headers.Add("Disposition-Notification-To", "xxxxxx");
There is the email address missing between the empty quotation mark. (here xxxxxx)
You do NOT get back a notification from the programm. The recipient
of the email is asked, to push a commit button and then a email
is send to the address, you set in your mssg.Headers.Add.
The email-address at the place xxxxxx must set between brackets.

Gerrit

Hi !
You have already set the options in
> mail.DeliveryNotificationOptions = DeliveryNotificationOptions.OnSuccess;
with the enum .OnSuccess
Once again:
You will not receive a notification or a message in Your programm.
With the two additional programm lines, a messagebox will show up at the
computer of the mail-receiver. If he commits this box, a notification-mail will
be send back to the mail-address you set.
Best regards,
Gerrit

Hi !
I did try it with an Outlook (2003 and 2000) frontend and a MS Exchange server to
send the Mail. As a receiver, I tried Outlock 2003 directly linked to a
Web-provider and the Mail frontend of the Web-provider(1x1) itself and it
worked perfectly.
I suppose Your receiver will not answer for notifications at all (maybe
you have set an option) or Your mail-address for the notification is
in the receivers list for spam-mail.
As I do not know about your mail-receiver, I am afraid that I cannot help
here. Sorry.
Best regards,
Gerrit

If I have 2 or more tables in database ,I want to know how we can establish connection between them and if we have same field common in 2 tables ,how we can update all by updating one table i.e. particular fields that r common.
|
|
|
|
|
i am not understanding your question but whatever i got i am telling you..
for making connection you can use join query on table..
If You Get your answer then please Rating me...
Thanks..

AFAIK, JOIN only works for select queries, not for updates - I could be wrong, but I've never seen an UPDATE with a JOIN in! You should never use standby on an elephant. It always crashes when you lift the ears. - Mark Wallace
C/C++ (I dont see a huge difference between them, and the 'benefits' of C++ are questionable, who needs inheritance when you have copy and paste) - fat_boy

|
|
|
|
yes you may be right but we can also match the comman field of the table in query..like
for example
update tablename set ('"+name+"',.....) where table1.id=table2.id and table1.customer_name=table2.customer_name
If You Get your answer then please Rating me...
Thanks..

Indeed - but as the OP question was about updating... You should never use standby on an elephant. It always crashes when you lift the ears. - Mark Wallace

I know at least Microsoft Access and MySQL support joins in UPDATE queries. For your information, go to MySQL's reference page (http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.0/en/update.html[^]) and search for the word "join" to locate the relating paragraph.
I have successfully used UPDATE with join many times. However, not all database systems support this. For example, I have found no support in the small database system "sqlite."

UPDATE t1, t2 SET t2.datafield='Table2 data', t1.datafield='Table1 Data' WHERE t1.userID=9 AND t2.userID=9 You should never use standby on an elephant. It always crashes when you lift the ears. - Mark Wallace

you can also use following method
update tablename set ('"+name+"',.....) where table1.id=table2.id and table1.customer_name=table2.customer_name

If the columns in common between the tables have unique values, you can define them as foreign keys with the ON UPDATE CASCADE constraint (assuming the database supports foreign keys - I know SQLite only recently added support for them). When you update the column in the table being referenced, it will automatically update the column in the other table. I'm not certain if it works the other way around, but I think it does.

Hi,
I want to run some processes on a remote PC using WMI and C#. One of the PC runs XP SP3 and the other PC runs XP SP2. But I keep getting "access denied" errors. some of the errors are:
1. Access is denied. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070005 (E_ACCESSDENIED))
2."error Logon failure:the user has not been granted the requested logon type at this computer."
Both computers are workgroup computers.i have tried the following with no avail.
I use a login with administrative privileges. In addition I have enabled this account to be remote enabled using
dcomcnfg >DCOM Config >Windows Management Instrumentation > properties on the remote computer.
From security options, I changed "Network access:Sharing and security options for local accounts"
to "Classic: Local users authenticate as themselves." on the remote computer
Disabled the fire wall
Note that code works fine on local host.
Can anybody help?
Here is the code I am using
using System;
using System.Collections.Generic;
using System.Text;
using System.Management;
namespace ConsoleApplication1
{
class Program
{
static void Main(string[] args)
{
string userName = "sara";
string password = "titina";
string domain = null;
string machineName = "192.168.12.20";
ConnectionOptions options = new ConnectionOptions();
if (domain != null)
{
options.Username = domain + "\\" + userName;
}
options.Username = userName;
options.Password = password;
options.Impersonation = ImpersonationLevel.Impersonate;
options.Authentication = AuthenticationLevel.Packet;
options.EnablePrivileges = true;
ManagementScope connectScope = new ManagementScope();
connectScope.Path = new ManagementPath(@"\\" + machineName + @"\root\CIMV2");
connectScope.Options = options;
try
{
connectScope.Connect();
}
catch (ManagementException e)
{
Console.WriteLine("An Error Occurred: " + e.Message.ToString());
}
catch (AccessViolationException ee)
{
string processName = "notepad.exe";
Console.WriteLine("Creating Process: " + processName);
Console.WriteLine(process.CreateProcess(processName));
Console.WriteLine("Killing Process: " + processName);
Console.WriteLine("Process Terminated");
Console.ReadLine();
}
}
}
}

Hi !
For
> connectScope.Path = new ManagementPath(@"\\" + machineName + @"\root\CIMV2");
there is at my computer the same errormessage poping up in the line
> connectScope.Connect();
When I change the entry
> string machineName = "192.168.12.20";
to the real alpha machine name (not IP-Address !), it works.

Gerrit
