Hi All.
I am planning to develop a Screen Capture application using FFMpeg. Can someone help me out if there are any good .NET Wrappers that allow Screen Capture. I browsed through the net and found SharpFFMPeg and SolidFFMpeg to be some good .NET Wrappers for FFMpeg but I am not quite sure if they can do Screen Capture as FFMpeg.
Thanks in advance.
Cheers,
Sridhar

I have a default directory saved in my app.config and also another directory.
In the options of my program the user is supposed to be able to change the other directory or restore the default.
Yet, that doesn't seem to work properly.
At program start (first time) default and other directory have the same value. In the options I use a FolderBrowseDialog and then display the SelectedPath in a textbox. When the user clicks apply/ok the value of said textbox is written into the app.config (presumably).
Yet, when opening another form to use that changed directory (I double and triple checked for spelling mistakes), the default directory is still used.
I checked the .exe.config and .vshost.exe.config files in the debug folder, yet they, too remain unchanged after changing the directory.
But when I read the config value during runtime with config.AppSettings.Settings["elementPath"].Value , the value is the changed one as long as I stay on the same form I changed it on.
Why does that happen?
Thanks.

Use the Browsable[^] attribute on an overridden or new property, e.g.
[Browsable(false)]
public override Color BackColor
{
get { return base.BackColor; }
set { base.BackColor = value; }
}
}

Hello.
Thanks for the answer, but for me is illogical to hide all properties throught the attribute 'browsable'. So it indicate that i have to hide every property, one by one.
there is any way to show only the properties of my class with out hide one by one the properties.

No, you have to do it one by one I'm afraid. I know it sucks but that's the downside of inhertance. It would be nice if MS had made a ControlBase class with minimal properties and methods so this wasn't necessary.

I need to transfer lines of text between two Windows PC. Does the line terminator "\n\r" takes one or two characters?
Best,

2. Easy enough to test with:
Console.WriteLine("\r\n".Length);

"\r\n" is 2 characters: \n (ASCII 10) is a newline, \r (ASCII 13) is a carriage return.

Hello,
I need to solve simplest problem. I have some abstract factory which will initiate on demand seperate processes(.NET EXE's). It means abstract factory needs to initiate processes at any time and let the newly created processes be able to communicate with process in which abstract factory reside. This interprocess communication is going to be done factory created them. Thse processes would background processes (no GUI involved).. What's the possible solution to this problem.
.NET remoting or PIPES all makes the processes able to communicate after they have been initiated . But here first they need to be initiated on demand and they'll execute seprate standalon processes (They will be shown in task manager as well as standing process) and then after that inter process communication will take place.

Hello,
I am having some problems using SharpSvn. I am creating a module for my IDE that allows users to have Subversion support. The module is inspired by AnhkSVN and therefore it functions almost the same way. However, my commit and update code isn't working. First off, my committing code: http://pastebin.com/qvWRUip2
That code is supposed to commit the whole project. However, when executing it, the progress dialog pops up, closes again almost instantly, and SharpSVN comes up with a dialog saying "Commit Failed (details follow):", however there are no more details. (See attachment) This also kills the thread, as actions after the e.Client.Commit line aren't executed. The weird thing is that the code is almost identical to the AnhkSVN committing code, yet it does not work.
And now to my updating code. This actually "works fine", the progress dialog comes up, it starts to transfer. I have all my project files on my computer, not uploaded yet, so the only thing there is on the Subversion repo is a folder. However, when transfering, every single file it appends the following actions: "Updating (file) - TreeConflict (file) - Update (directory of file) - Completed"
And then all the files get a little marker in the shell with a Warning triangle on it.
Here's my code: http://pastebin.com/JWnUYdvE
Again, it is almost identical to the AnhkSVN code.
What am I doing wrong? I have the project added to the Subversion repo using my own "Add To Subversion" dialog, which does the same thing as the AnhkSVN version, same code, etc., and TortoiseSVN also marks the files pending changes in Windows Explorer.
I have no clue.
Any help will be extremely appreciated,
Thanks,
Theo

I do not see anything in your question that makes it a C# problem, so can only assume you posted to the wrong website. Perhaps posting it here[^] will get the help you need.

I have posted it there too. However, I figured this forum was more active and mostly I get answered here much quicker.

I would suspect that you aren't catching the error code you need to catch in the switch block (commitArgs.LastException.SvnErrorCode). Add a break point on the switch and see what the value actually is.

Yes, this was the error. I figured out, from that, that it didn't commit because of the tree conflict. Any other SVN client did this too, and I just had to recreate the repo.

That's cool then.
