Like the other reply said, tracing is normally ok, with an exception stack trace. If you want more, you can search for info on the SOS.dll for windbg that allows you to inspect crash dump files (not that I know how to create them, but im sure the docs will tell you).

Hi,
I want to create an audio file (.wav or .mid) with C#.
The sound quality played should be different according to some
values e.g. 3, 6 1 etc...
Please how can i do it?

Hi!
You might want to search the articles about wave audio here on CP, for example this article[^] explains the internal structure of a wave file.
If you store PCM data inside the wave file (what you usually do) then you'll see that sound quality values like "3, 6 1 etc..." don't make sense, you'll have to specify the sample rate, bits per sample and channels (for example, 8000Hz 8bit mono is low quality, 44100Hz 16bit stereo is CD quality).

I have this listview that is populated using an arraylist, I have check boxes assigned to this listview, whenever the user selects a check box the index of the checked item must be returned and the item at that index within the arraylist must be removed.
My problem being the following. The actual item.checked can only be used when the itemcheck event has completed, so you can't do that within the event cause it hasn't occured yet.
Anyone any ideas?
Thanx in advance.

Hi
single click your listview then hit F4 in your keyboard select "Events"
scroll down to ItemCheck Event and double click it then type
MessageBox.Show ( "The Index of the checked item is " + e.Index.ToString() +<br />
"\n Its state was" + e.CurrentValue.ToString() + "\n and now its state is " <br />
+ e.NewValue.ToString());
put some could so you can get help with the array

Try to change column type of Description from text to varchar(255)//varchar (increase by yourself)

How did you come to the conclusion that the data gets truncated? Did you check the data in the database, and if so, what program did you use?

if variable Number increase by one try to sign in for loop, example
string s="";
for(byte Number=0;Number<=15;Number++)
{
s=Convert.Tostring(Number);
}

Hi
maybe you should check your loop
Ahmad Shaban
|
|
|
|
|
I recommand you to not use muc variables because your project grows and becomes big procces in CPU.
Check ur code and insetad variables use dirctly code.
Use as little bit number of vraiables as is possiblity.

You have to look for the code that causes the cpu load somewhere else in your program. Converting a byte to a string is a very simple task that will take mere microseconds to perform.

Hi
Load the data into a MemoryStream , then use Image.FromStream . Then use Image.Save .
BTW, you must keep the MemoryStream open until you have finished with the Image .
