Hi All,
Can we apply transaction rollback for active directory using c#.NET. If I trying to create a user in active directory and if any error occurs then user should not be created in active directory and all my changes should get roll backed. Is there way we can do this.
Can I use .net TransactionScope for this AD transaction?
Thanks,
Nitin

How to make custom pagination when use grid view in c#

It's not well-formed question. I'd like to say it's better to ask a question this way: "Why to use custom pagination?" or "What's the benefits of custom pagination?", but you need to:
1) have a minimal background (knowledge) about it,
2) provide a minimal information about your issue.
These two things are necessary if you want to be treated seriously.
So, at this moment i can advise you to look for solutions on the CP Knowledge Base[^].

I think that strictly speaking this is more of a "wild eyed unfounded ambition" than a question - but I suppose it could be broken down into one ore more constituent questions.

Well then in that case, it's probably best you post in the right place.

You haven't provided much in the way of detail. What exactly does the error message say, what are you trying to do when you get the error message etc.
Have you copied all the necessary files over to the other computer, does the code refer to a path that it can't access?
Please provide more details and we may be able to help.

The project is not running on my second computer. Only running on where it was build.

I think that's error code 0x0BADF00D.

You are saying that the "message show path not found".
- That is the issue. Have you hard-coded any paths in your application? Go through your entire application and look for all the used/referenced paths. Make sure the paths are relational.
- Use proper logging to record the exceptions thrown.

Hello,
I have problem to put variables to reportviewer.
First I put variables to parametrs and then to reportviewer.
Code looks like that:
jodb baza_win = new jodb(.....data.....to.....connection......SQL);
List<DaneRaportu> lista = baza_win.pobierz_rap_view(......query......SQL)
reportViewer1.ProcessingMode = ProcessingMode.Local;
LocalReport localReport = reportViewer1.LocalReport;
reportViewer1.LocalReport.DataSources.Clear();
reportViewer1.LocalReport.ReportEmbeddedResource = "Raporting.Report_Promo.rdlc";
Microsoft.Reporting.WinForms.ReportDataSource dataset = new Microsoft.Reporting.WinForms.ReportDataSource("DataSet1", lista);
reportViewer1.LocalReport.DataSources.Add(dataset);
dataset.Value = lista;
string data_rap = "Dataprobna";
ReportParameter nowydataod = new ReportParameter("dataodview", data_rap);
this.reportViewer1.LocalReport.SetParameters(nowydataod);
Next in report I put parameter to textbox. Expression looks like that: Parameters!dataodview.Value
When I start program I get this communication:
An error occurred during local report processing
In details:
Microsoft.Reporting.WinForms.LocalProcessingException: An error occurred during local report processing. ---> Microsoft.Reporting.DefinitionInvalidException: The definition of the report '' is invalid. ---> Microsoft.ReportingServices.ReportProcessing.ReportProcessingException: An unexpected error occurred in Report Processing. ---> System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the path 'C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\Temp\expression_host_1f2d7bdeb7b24b8a9d99ff74d15a1b60.dll' is denied.
at System.IO.__Error.WinIOError(Int32 errorCode, String maybeFullPath)
The strange thing is that when I start program in Start Debugging everything is ok but when I start program in Start Without Debugging I have bug.
Maybe someone knows what happened?

avisharma@sharma wrote: How could i do this please Same way as a button column; you handle the CellClick[^] event of the DataGridView . It works the same for button and text-columns.

Perhaps you can help me in my search as I know very little C#. I'm looking at delegating functions and marshalling the function pointer to a win32 p/invoke function. I think my issue is with delegating. Basically I've set up a delegate function (to simplify I'll use):
public delegate void Foo(int x);
Then I declared a delegate member
Foo f;
Then I assign it to an appropriate function:
f = this.MyFoo;
Which was declared like:
public void MyFoo(int x){...}
I then get the function pointer via Marshalling:
win32function(handle, Marshal.GetFunctionPointerForDelegate(f));
Currently I'm getting an error for the win32function() of invalid parameters. The only parameter I cannot be sure is correct is the function pointer I'm passing [the win32 function is looking for a callback function]
I'm assuming I'm not completing getting the picture of delegating. Any ideas?
I can dump the working code into the forum but I was trying to keep things simple.
Thanx
Dennis

I think you need to use the UnmanagedFunctionPointerAttribute on your delegate; see if this is useful: [^].
