thanks, but how can i use the code that adds my custom event handlers in my class when i convert it to an interface?
rather have something you don't need, than need something you don't have

In C#, multiple inheritance is not an option, you may only inherit from one base class.
If you are not satisfied with the "interface" approach, then you might consider extending one class and creating a member of the new class of the type implemented by your second class. That way, you'll be able to benefit from the methods of the second class.

Using .net 2.0 A generic collection is populated. i.e. ForwardsCol
There are three fields in this collection. i.e. ID, Name, Lastname
At present the data in the collection is not sorted.
How is it possible to sort the data by Name?
Is this to do with:
ForwardsCol.Sort(Name) ?
Thanks

Hey guys, i have one question about the SHA1 class. I notice it has SHA256, SHA512 but not SHA128. Am i right to say that SHA1 is actually SHA128?

Can anybody help with a suggestion on how to set a picture as desktop wallpaper using c#?
I have begun to do it "the hard way" by starting a picture viewer program and trying to set it from there but this solution is not elegant at all and doesn't satisfy me.

Thanks for your reply Martin but I forgot to mention that I have already used that code. At first it works just fine but after a shutdown or restart the wallpaper disappears from desktop but if I go to Properties/Desktop it appears to be there. This is some voodoo thing.

Thanks Giorgi. It works. But the thing that intrigues me is why this code works and the other doesn't. The parts that deal with the actual operation are identical. Probably I am missing something in the part that handles the registry.

Hi,
I want to make one window unselectable while I capture some info from another (basically a popup that will be displayed over the first). How do I stop the user from changing the window's focus? I suppose I could hide the one window, but that's not really what I'm looking to do.
Thanks
Ruan

Found the answer:
this.CanFocus = false;

Or Show the "Popup" Form as a modal dialog.

Do you mind elaborating? I'm new to winforms.

Nevermind, problem solved.
Using showDialog(parent) instead of just show causes the desired effect

Hai Everybody,
Have a nice day!!!
Problem Definition: I have to synchronize my system timing with NIST time and i have to give the synchronized time to other service.
Solution I found : For this i am getting the status of the Windows Time service and if it is in stop mode them i tried to start the service and i waited for the status to change to "Running". It is working fine.
Problem faced : When i started the service it takes some time in my system it took approx 15 seconds so after 15 seconds only my system time will be synchronized and then only i can assign this time to the next service.
Suggestion I want: How can i detect whether the time is synchronized and get notification.
Best Regards,
M. J. Jaya Chitra
