Today the server response is bit slow while posting messages. I also just reported it in 'Suggestions/Bug Reports' forums. Something related to that?

Not really, from what i can tell, sending information goes quickly, but then reloading the page is what takes time.
Try this next time you post a message:
Click post, wait a moment, click stop. Go back to the forum and refresh it.
I bet you will see your message.
Although i imagine people will have different experiences depending on their location, and the current load on the CP servers.
The site is currently getting re-written anyway isn't it? So when it is re-launched it should be able to cope better under high load.

e.Row.Cells[Index].Controls[Index].ClientID.ToString()
Remember the function should have "GridViewRowEventArgs e" as one of its arguments.
onclick() event of the button pass the clientId as an argument to the function to execute.

I doubt whether the user did that.

Tell me - do you think that these posts aren't being read by the same people who stomped on you the last time you tried to ask this? You should know that we hunt the forums in packs just looking for saps to stomp on, and let me tell you - I've got my really big stomping boots on today.
Can you give me one good legal reason why you need to hide the IP address? Just one. Not two. Not three. Just one. Until you can do that, stop posting this question.

He's worried that you would make good on your threats Pete. He has a reason to hide from you

You could switch your machine off. That would hide your IP addresss from everybody and also stop you posting such crap in these forums.

Hi,
Can any one please let me know the maximum number of connections a connection pool can create and hold simultaneously?
Thanks.

Check this out:

Quoting from it ...
Max Pool Size - specifies the maximum size of your connection pool. Default is 100. Most Web sites do not use more than 40 connections under the heaviest load but it depends on how long your database operations take to complete.

hi,
after fetching the data into the datagridview, how to display the value of a particular field of a selected row, in a textbox. It is a windows application not an asp . It contains datagridview, not gridview. It is C#.
